Sweet potatoes are nice peeled, cut into wedges tossed in a little oil. Sprinkle with some spicey seasoning then cook for about 30 minutes at 220C degrees. Yummy!

In winter, braised red cabbage. Mmmmm

I think there's only broad beans that I really hate, yet up to being a teenager (some time ago now :rotfl: ) I would only eat frozen peas and tinned carrots!!!!

Love all veggies but my absolute favourite is butternut squash.

I like it cut in half longways, scoop the seeds out then fill with chopped chives, chopped spring onions, mixed with feta cheese and topped with black olives and a drizzle of olive oil. Then bake in oven till soft.
    :j :j :j Yum!!!!!!

I'd find it hard to choose between baked sweet potato with sour cream, savoy cabbage stir fried with garlic and sesame seeds and champ (mashed potato with butter and scallions. Depends what it's accompanying though. The cabbage works really well with gammon, I like the sweet potato with meat and the champ with chiken or fish. ;)

Well I love most veg (strangley enough considering I'm vegan hehe) so saying what I do not like is easier.

I do not like courgettes, aubergines and green peppers

At the moment though parsnip is the veg I'm eating too much of lol.
I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy :D
  • Please can someone put me out of my misery and tell me what Sweet Potatoes taste like (roughly, of course)? Please don't say they taste like sweet potatoes:rotfl:

So many of you list them as your faves so I'm thinking they may be fantastic, but then again Parsnips seem to be well-liked too and I loathe them:eek:
