whats kale like and what do you do with it? i ahvent tried it. i love cabbage and sprouts, is it somthing like that??
did some fennel the other day, i was quite impressed, a bit like aniseed and celery!
any more ideas would continue to be apreciated :T- prior planning prevents poor performance!

For being so versatile carrots. For flavour, probably asparagus.
You're not on your own with parsnips, but I do use them if making stews etc, can't taste them as much once it's all together. Celery and celeriac however I can't even stand the smell of. YUCK!!One day I might be more organised...........

i'm not a fan either - it's one vegetable that tasted nothing like I'd imagined.
Roasted parsnips look nice, and every now and again I fall for it and end up looking like a bulldog chewing a wasp.0 -
Absolutely has to be eaten just as it is. No salt, no butter, nothing. Just lightly steamed. Perfect!May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
I love brussels but I found out the other day that they are bad for my underactive thyroid so i'm upset about that.0

Ooh I love sprouts, all sorts of cabbage, broad beans fresh from the pod, corn on the cob (no other way to have it), runner beans and cauliflower but my all time fave are..............
