Just keep going with the AFd's.
If you only hit the stuff 1:7 that's more than great.
You're 1:15 (if my calcs are correct) so you are doing great.
Be proud

Thanks

Adding in the calories of the 3 small glasses (i actually was sad enough to measure them!) I have had tonight to my diet tracker had a sobering effect  although I needed the sobering effect as I felt very squiffy!!Journey began May 2013

Not much to report. I've had a relatively low spend today - I bought £25 shopping from T***o for £18 due to bogof savings and a £4 off £20 spend voucher:)
I'm drinking alcohol tonight and it's reminding me just how much I need to cut down even mor. I'm going to miss my target of 29 AFD in June but don't really mind, I've had more alcohol free days than alcoholic days in the last month.
I'm beginning to wonder if the only way of clearing the debts is to sell the house and buy somewhere cheaper.
We have around £350K equity in the house but I would rather clear the debt the old fashioned than move. I like living only 5 minute drive away from work and in such a lovely safe location where all the schools are fab.
In the meantime, I'm going to join the 100 day debt challenge, the best debt to hit would be DH Amex card but he is not on board, he has yet to have his LBM. Therefore I may just hit one of my own debts and go for partial clearance - oh hum...

joanne109 - good luck with the AFDs (I say with a glass of wine beside me!) My OH used to get through a bottle of whisky a week so I've seen how tricky it can be getting off the alcohol wagon. I think if we still had the money he still would but non-alcohol drinks are just as nice (have you tried those fancy 'adult' soft drinks? Or a really good cordial with sparkling water? Sorry if someone has already suggested this - or got better suggestions!) and without the hangover!!! I've got my fingers crossed for you!
Well done with the T-co savings - I LOVE savings!Debts @ LBM (May 2013): £25,250.27 | Debt Free: May 2015 :j:j0 -
Thank you for looking at my diary.
I think I was also heading toward a bottle of gin a fortnight on top of my nightly wine. It's so nice not to have to drink any more and just indulge once a week. I was aiming for an almost clear month but I just missed my wine on one or two nights - and I can resist anything except temptation;).
On financial matters, I have predicted this months debt repayments, my credit card statements are due in over the next 2 weeks and I'll post my figures for June around 28th but I will be lucky if the debt comes down by much, if at all over this month because of the high outgoings on the car this month, however, I don't think my debts will be going up so that's a positive.
For the first time in ages, I am looking forward to getting my bills in.
I've had an estimated gas an electric bill this week and they have massively under estimated usage, however, we are still in debit so once I have paid of my Zopa loan ((17th June:j:j) I'll increase the monthly payments.
I have checked price comparison and we are still on one of the lowest rates, however our local council is setting up an energy consortium and I've registered to join that, hopefully it will shave a little bit off the bills.
I'm off to do a bit more looking around the site then up to bed, ready to face the week ahead.

Oh dear, Post office credit card bill came in today.
There was around £150 spending carried over from the last bill in early May. DH has been hit be £12 overlimit charge and will probably be hit again this month.
He's paying 10% off this bill per month.
I have "retired" the card and popped it into my secret drawer until Christmas and beyond I hope
In the meantime, I'll have to tighten the belt, certainly no extras this [STRIKE]week[/STRIKE] month

No updates really for the last day or two as not a lot to report apart from....today I deliberately left my purse at home so had no money and therefore no spending.
It was fantastic, no pressure
I'm not saying having no money is no pressure because it's one hell of a headache, but having money (or at least access to money) but choosing not to carry it around and spend it is a lovely feeling.
I'm going to leave my purse at home again tomorrow
Payday on Friday so I get my payslip tomorrow. I've had a minor pay hike due to hitting all and exceeding some of my targets last year so I should be around £800 per year better off.
That's before tax of course so Mr Osborne will be better off as well:mad:
Goodnight

Some people freeze them in tubs of water - so the card is there in a dire emergency but not that easy to get hold of - except of course when the freezer breaks down and that would then be a dire emergency I guess:rotfl:Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

I had to take my purse in today after all as I needed to stock up on some packed lunch stuff (must update sig - done)
I'm working from home tomorrow so no shopping opportunities.
Quiet evening tonight, I didn't pick up any wine when I went shopping, I find no temptation when shopping at lunchtime, the temptation comes if I go shopping after work.
