Well a very good afternoon to you all!
I have started the day with a couple of girlfriends (it's an SFD) and I home, in my pj's ready to head back to bed. I am on more overtime tonight after a 2 week stretch so this is my official 13th day at work. I am thinking of the money...
I shall be hitting a £50 budget on food (with £10 emergency ). £400 extra towards the loan and nothing apart from the "food £10" for emergency spends / nothing for entertainment and nothing for anything else. This is nothing short of tough love and batten down the hatches...
For those who are unaware I have a gym membership ( like Abundant) and a cinema subscription as my only outlets for "entertainment".. there is no restaurants this month and no cafes. It's gonna be tough but I shall be aiming to sell a few bits on Fleabay to possibly buy myself a little something....
I shall be assigning colors to your names so you know.. and I am assuming here that we only have two boys and the rest are girlies... please correct me if I am wrong in my assumptions...
Right now I am going to hit the hay... I am shattered after this passed week but am pressing along to get as much Overtime when it's available..
Onwards and Upwards Spartans.... ( for those that are wondering and asking the budgets I have seen so far are purr-fect)..:T“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Afternoon all, day one here we are - so far been to a family holiday club event and into town shopping:eek::eek: A grand start to the month - I splurged on a pop up laundry basket - DS broke ours yesterday and some new nail scissors - DD was spoilt by bank of granny
Off to a quiz night tonight - budgets below - have replaced debt doo dah with car fund savings. DH car making a "noise" again so although the debt has gone we will aim to be as tight as ever! Its got over 100000 on the clock and aint going to be reliable for much longerFood budget up a bit - we have my folks staying for almost another 2 weeks. This may come down as they do chip in towards the grub
Will review the weeks left when they have gone back up north!

Hi all...
SFD for me. I'm reporting it now so that I don't cave in and order a taxi home later. We're off to a friends house for a BBQ - I had offered to drive but friend has already bought wine, and hubby has stumped up for lager for us. I've done some potato salad and coleslaw with stuff we already had in the house - no need to take meat as friend's hubby is a butcher.
Still feel ok about driving but she's insisted on coming to pick us all up. Ah well - it'll be a fantastic night with good company and good food. Tomorrow is grocery shopping day and the car needs some liquid gold rather urgently so we will be doing planned spends tomorrow.Ninja Saving Turtle0 -

Evening - I hope everyone has had a good day
I'm declaring today as my first SFD as I'm not going out again. We went to look around a new shopping centre that has opened near to where we'll be living. I managed to avoid temptation, but might have to leave my purse at home in future - there were a couple of lovely shops there.
Been working most of the day (I'm self-employed) because we were waiting in for the courier to pick up a box of stuff for Music Magpie. Quite a good way to not spend money, especially on a sunny Saturday.
Anyway, have a great evening everyone.

Hmmmmm. I don't really do budgets I just have rough ideas. I pay off the debts, rent and phone bill and then leave the rest.....well there isn't much.
am saving for various things. £230 pounds a month. Phone bill is 20 quid.
I am paying 500 quid off the debt this month.
Petrol is 30 quid a week. Shopping is normally 30 quid a week and I normally have 30 per week to spend.
So I say I have 400 pounds for my spends. However this doesn't sound very Sparta like. SO I shall go and have a think.
I have one weekend away this month and my best friend's birthday. I am seriously considering a moon pig account cos I have been forgetting birthdays all over the place.
I might need more petrol.
hmmmm.
going off for a ponder.
xxxNevertheless she persisted.0
