    I'm in please NSK.

Sorry I wasn't around for May :o. It was very stressful as I had problems getting accepted for our new flat thanks to my old lettings agent. It took a lot of persuading and phone calls to get it all sorted out.

Anyway, June is all about getting as much money into our account and spending as little as possible!!

    Bring on June!! :D

I'll be a bit early with the budget as well as we'll be away over the weekend at a wedding:

    food 150 (2.5 people)
HH and extras 100 (nappies, looroll etc. treats etc)
CC 400 (paid today, mostly for THE LUNCH, the rest will be paid next month incl wedding this weekend = DFD1)

Rainy day 230 (fill that up first and then focus on savings for our wedding, another 200 to go to make 1000 in July)
    kitchen/wedding 0
LTSA 30 (started a wee independent long term savings account to built up an emergency nest egg in 20 years time of about 7 grand, never know)

Might rejigg these figures again as I'd also like to pay off debt to FIL by the end of next year = DFD2 (OH's really but it's sort of our car) which will be another £1000 after we give him the PPI money that will hopefully come soon. Back to my spreadsheet and maybe think again....

    SFDs 20
DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/25

    Hi all,

Posting my numbers early as I rarely get on the forums over the weekends and if the weather is as nice as forecasted, I want to be out and about all weekend enjoying some sun.

Weekly budget is being dropped to £80 from £100, £60 is my shopping target with £20 for fun times. Could be tricky as we have a lot of birthdays and celebrations this month

    Grocery budget: £240
    Fun budget: £80
    Holiday fund: £350
    ISA fund: £400
Debt repayment: £80 (been using CC to buy pressies for people this past week, £80 will be more than enough to pay off CC in full when bill comes)

I know some of you may be tut-tutting at me using the CC after just getting myself debt free but I get paid on the 3rd Friday of the month so my figures above (apart from grocery/fun budgets) are worked around my June wage so on the 21st I'll pay into the holiday fund, ISA and pay off CC bill (which usually arrives a few days before payday) if that makes sense.

I should have really budgetted for the birthdays more from my May wage but our trip to Wales took precedent.

    Good luck everyone x
  • I've sorted out my budget ready to go tomorrow. I'm starting to get a little excited about the fact that this will be the last full month of paying full time nursery fees as DS will be finishing nursery with me on 19th July. OK, I'll still be paying for breakfast and after school clubs but not full time nursery any more.

Here's my budget for the month
    Groceries £180 (£40 cut)
    Petrol £160
School Uniform £25 - it's coming up to that time of year again
    Debt Payment £435

Going to try really hard not to treat myself this month as I have a few days away in July and I really want to save treats for that. I will be marking exam papers in a couple of weeks which should more than cover the cost of spending money in July.

Hi, I've worked out the figures, I think

    Food/Household £280
Petrol £300 - this is a lot but I cover miles for work each month and I get it back in expenses
    Car Repair- £180
Wedding of friend - £100 - includes over night stay
    Debt repayment 150

I really need to start budgeting again as I've have fallen of the wagon big style:(
