Evening everyone
Sfd for me nearly there on that front! but feeling a bit deflated today, just over tired I think and fed up not having any money to spend on myself. Really wanted a pair of shoes I have seen, really nice, typical me and I would wear them to death but I don't need them but I still went on the website to ogle them - and guess what they are out of stock - karma I reckon!!!!!! one day .........
Still not got my glasses and its a week now, I bet I don't get them until Monday, so Im still wearing my Harry Potters and feeling a right burke (sp??)

Hi everyone.
Scraped through today making SFD number 15. I did get a few bits of shopping but used points on my Boots and Nectar cards
Pay day arrived and after all expenses have gone out including my £375 off debts, I have £56 spare. That's *if* I stick to a food budget of £100. If I cut back on my PT sessions, I have £136 spare... so that could be another £100 off my debts... Sound like a plan?
Nanny - I had a similar moment... Wandered into Next and saw this Tshirt and I thought wow... but then saw none in my size!!! It wasn't a *need* just a 'want' and glad I didn't buy.
Am definitely up for July's challenge!
I hope everyone is having a nice evening.

Oh my goodness, what's happening to me? I've been dreaming about spending my £10 treat on a smoothie from a yummy, super healthy shop in Covent Garden that I love! I walked all the way from Earls Court to Covent Garden (4ish miles), then when I got there I couldn't bring myself to break the £10 note! I decided I could make a smoothie at home and my treat will be to pay £10 more off my debt...don't know if that's  or :A Maybe I'll go out and blow it tomorrow
I spent a whopping 39p today on a lemon (inspired by Kat!). The budget will stretch as far as two onions that I think I'll buy tomorrow so that I can make some chickpea and kale casserole and sweet potato and coconut soup as my freezer is rather barren.
Oh, and I got the new Sophie Kinsella book from my library :j That's at least £10 saved (and it's a nice environmetally friendly way to read a book!).0 -
Hi Spartans,
Been a bit AWOL the last few days, very very busy with work and arranging my house move (t-minus 16 days). 3rd move in a year and a half- doesn't seem to get any easier!
However, I have made £20 on Ebay \o/ Have a lovely bundle of goodies to sell at the car booty on Sunday (just got to locate a pasting table otherwise it will be a blanket on the floor job). I have finally caved in and spent some of my saved Birthday money on a local festival ticket- tied in with a friend's hen weekend so a double win! I love festivals!or any live music to be honest!
It's been a tough old month. I don't think I'm going to make my 20 SFDs, I'm up to 15 I believe, but I have stayed within my budget for food and fuel and have made extra money throughout the month to throw at EL DEBTO!
Need to catch up on all of your posts! Hope you are all doing well and are ready for Pay day! (It's been a long time coming!)

:j:j:j:j:j Payday!!!!!!!
I have made it through June!
Today is the day where I stop sitting feeling sorry for myself and get on and do something.
Not the best of starts to the day though - our cold winter and spring has led my energy supplier to increase our monthly payments to £80! Still I hope that will just be temporarily. Get the arrears paid off and get it straight back down.
Bring on the July challenge.
Well done everyone for surviving what I consider to be two really horrid months in a row.
Oh, one more thing - ds only has 3 weeks left at nursery too. OK he still has to go into kids club childcare but I can half the cost of my childcare (that better soak up the increase in gas prices).
Feeling strangely much more positive today. Must hang onto this feeling for as long as I can.:TNinja Saving Turtle0 -
Thank goodness for payday. Trying to get July underway and posted today so keep eyes open. Siouxsie go buy yourself some REAL fruit. Raspberries, strawberries, bananas, an apple, a pear, an avocado for good healthy fat, blueberries and make the most decadent smoothies known to man! ...and add half a lemon..;- )...antioxidant heaven!
Will be back later to update. I have paid off my CC , transferred funds about, awaiting Monday before transferring to my loan ( it's HARD to wait ) and may wait until Sunday for a shop but hitting the yellow sticker tonight maybe...

Under house arrest today so a sfd! DD is off school - yesterday mornings "my throat is sore" developed into shivers and a temperature by the end of the day - not helped by them swimming outside in the unheated pool
the mind boggles why they let her stay in at break and then thought that was a good idea!
Anyway cracked on with work this morning - dug out the house (downstairs at least). Need to do banking and work on budgets for July - I WILL BE GOOD, FRUGAL and FABULOUS!!
Oooh beef is landing soon - friend got his dates wrong - its this week its being delivered and turns out its 20kg :eek::eek: Cheaper than supermarket prices and traceable but flippin expensive in one hit. Going to try make it last until the Autumn.
Right onwards and upwards - will work on sig when Ive sorted budgets.
Love to all

Do it do it do it. I will be at £100 this month for food because I can. Cut those PT sessions and get over to the J.U.L.Y challenge...“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.
