    - you are in! Well done...

Mr Cobes I am so jealous of the chickens. Watched BBC1 tonight which was about dodgy food fraud - makes me think that no matter my budget I have to stop buying caged hen eggs... never did before but just in the last few months. Would love my own chickens..

Abundant I have the same issues with the moggy...

Can we call the kitten Sparta..?..:T:T:T

    Now a few questions....
    • Vouchers are not spends.
    • Food is a spend
    • Call the Kitten Sparta..

...I am off for a hair dying session (bought last month) and a nail painting session...

I totalled £14.58.. however my peppers shoulda been 2 for £1.. not 80p each......however small this annoys me something chronic...I am going to make a complaint and hope fora voucher...:)

Ooh Kat, if this was at Tesco, you're entitled to double the difference so that should be £1.20 cash back to you! Like you, I've been virtual supermarket shopping to get the cheapest basket I forget who did 2 peppers for £1 :D

Off to get my dinner the highlight of my day! More later....

    Evening all,

SFD here :) during the week I don't spend unless its a Wednesday when I do my food shopping. I've already meal planned and written out my shopping list. I love being organised. However, much to my frustration (at myself!) I forgot to cancel a standing order to one of my saving accounts so £40 came out of my cash card account and so my direct debit for gas and electric bounced back :( that's a big fat £8 to my bank in charges next month!!!

I suppose you live and learn! I've got 27 sleeps until I go away with dd so trying to be as tight as possible so we can have fun and abit of spending money when we're away.

Hope you're all keeping well xx

  • Good to see you back KrustyLouise - bet you are looking forward to that trip away with your daughter.

Really enjoying the updates here again...and I also like the name Sparta for a kitten. After that story, he sounds like a determined soul, so very apt!

SFD for me, partly courtesy of a work meeting that came with free lunch (and most bizarrely, free champagne...:rotfl:). Was a bit of a highlight after a rough day at work - it's always difficult going back after you've had some time off.

Anyway, have decided this month is truly the apocalypse I've been planning for...I'm determined to clear out the freezer once and for all! Amazing what a new month and a bit of sunshine can do to motivate you...

Good morning sun shining. Wind picking up later ! Think parsnip seeds ? So early morning start for me...

I am classing yesterday as a NSD thanks to those who posted yesterday about vouchers and pre booked spends...I am applying the rules in a fair way to myself..:D

Today will be another NSD but tomorrow is another story..pre booked treatments at the beauty clinic ( back wax ) ...then supermarket for a minimal amount of fresh veg...haircut Friday so balancing the budget somewhat....

NSK..chickens are easy to keep but there is a cost implication..fun tho' these ones belong to my mate on the site but they get to know who feeds them the corn/wheat as a treat..my grandson loves em' mind you he is only two and small they are up to his waist but he shows no fear..:) when feeding them..

Krustylouse...bank charges grrrrrr...in the bad old days of 15% mortgage rate..one of the big 4 beginning with B used to write to me telling me it looks like I may go over my agreed limit, £25 for that anticipation, which pushed me over....thanks for that !...additional charges..not forgotten ! !

    Breakfast time...whoo hoo
    Lets do it !,, :p

Sorry Kat, kitten has been named Harley as he purrs very loudly like a motorbike. We did toy with Sheldon but realised this is not going to be a smart kitty even if he is a soft kitty, warm kitty :p. Sparta may make him a bit agressive don't you think? :rotfl:Mind you wiht the amount of energy he has he should be called Caffeine!
