Do you want the US authorities to drag your children away form their mother and repatriate them to the UK? That is your option, do you think your children would benefit from that? And it's probably even too late for that.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

I have indeed tried contacting them. She has not replied, and my kids have apple devices but have not responded/or are not allowed them.0

No i do not want to ruin the holiday in anyway. I would like to give her a stern talking to, but it wont do anything to stop her doing it again. Thanks for the help though anyway guys. I will speak to a solicitor during the week to find out how this can be prevented from happening again.0

If both parents have parental responsibility and there are no residence orders or other restrictions in place, then neither can take the child on holiday outside the United Kingdom without the written consent of the other parent or any other party with parental responsibility. So did she get written consent from you or just a verbal agreement? If you gave written consent did you state the exact dates that she and your children would depart from and return to the UK on that document? The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. It can be prevented from happening again, it will mean a court order being put in place where NEITHER parent can remove them from the UK until they are adults, so no more overseas holidays for you or their mother.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

There isn't necessarily anything sinister in that, it's quite possible that their apple devices won't work outside of the UK, did you check their roaming package before they went?Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

or maybe they're out having fun on their holiday, you know, not attached to their apple devices?0 -
She may or may not have used the flights as advised. It is possible that she could have taken internal flights to travel onto Vegas. Although connecting via Orlando seems an odd route to me, very time consuming on such a short trip. Most people fly straight to LA or somewhere on the west coast and then connect. If she breaches the written agreement in terms of when she travels back to the UK then a solicitor should advise you on what steps to take next. I am very sorry to hear you are in this situation and hope you are re-united with your children soon. The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. Op I'm happy to admit that I know nothing about you or your ex but is there a specific reason why permission must be sought to take the kids on holiday, other than you just wanting to know?Herman - MP for all!0
