Good Afternoon All
Thank heaven its the wk end now.
Ive pegged a load of washing on the line, and put the dogs bedding in the wash, ready for her wk end stay with my mum (providing we get to London that is)
Should really find the energy to go into town now and pay the rent, but with this head ache still lingering, I cant be bothered.
Thanks for the advise ref the Lavender Herbaholic & Moiliere - I think I might try the few drops every other night, rather than everynight. And see how that goes.
Anniestar - great news ref Phoebe. :j give her a big fuss from me! Charlie is like Lord of the house now. He's not phased about the other cats, and is so not shy at all! He comes & goes when he pleases. And flakes out where ever he wants in the house. Bless him! I hope he has a happy long life with us! We've got a visit in July from the CPL, just to see how he's settling in etc. Im sure it will go well.
Wow dannahaz - you're certainly switched on and organised regards to your paperwork etc.
Anyway, going to have a cuppa now, and see how I feel
Catch you later

I hate it when they do ad's like that. I just wish I had a mum to get grumpy with. Sorry rant over. Am going to actually do something now, so wish you all a nice, happy trouble free afternoon. Hi all
Back from aberdeen and so glad to be home, did ok in aberdeen, was a bit panicky, went to primark, got 3 bagful of clothes for the kids, cost 87 pounds, well pleased:j
Then took mum to costco as she had never been, so had lunch then got a few bits, but then started to have panic attack! not a good one so was desperate to get back to car, where mum gave me a hankie with lavender and it calmed me down a lot.
Head was really hurting so have taken some solphadeine, so much for not taken any today then:rotfl:
Right off to tidy up, house is a mess!

Good afternoon all. 57 minutes til the weekend...
Went to an 'Image Matters' learning lunch today, run by an external consultant. Was very interesting indeed. Quite fancy 'having my colours done' now. Have any of you ever had them done?? Worth it or not??
Now trying to arrange a team night out. Its like herding cats.

WELL I AM NOW THE POSSESSER OF FITTED WALL CUPBOARDS!!!!!!!!!
At last I can shift the stuff thats been on the bookcase in the hall and into cupboards and we will not have to go scuttling out into the hall to get things when I am cooking.
DD did a fab job, had a job with the biggest corner cupboard, the walls are not true, but its done..................
They are picking us up in an hour, going out to supper ON ME!!!! it would have cost me a fortune if the carpenter had done the job for me, so £20 fior a supper is really very little............(£10 for 2 meals good eh!!!!!) We did not get the glass dorrs to the corner cupboard, DD tells me they are half price in the sale, so next Wednesday B & Q here I come......snazzy kitchen.........
OH is bowling tomorrow so I can play to my hearts content putting things away and also starting to empty the dresser.......I have to send the measurements for the plate rack by email, we have a little more space than I though, we managed to get one cupboard a little further along one of the walls.
So busy day, made ham sarnies for lunch, used up the bread so will put a loaf on whilst we are out..............
Have a good weekend every one especially those of you who are going away....................Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -

Evening all. Busy day, vets (pup still poorly and needed vaccines doing) shopping (so I don't have to go next week when kids are off, hopefully!) sorting paperwork (still buried in it but getting there) housework etc etc
As for the 'other dog' we've decided that after the '9 days' we will see if the kennels find her a new home first, we're away second week in June and don't want to bring her back here to put her back in boarding kennels within a few days. If the rescue place gets a new home for her in that time then great, if not her '14 days' is up the day after we get back from holiday and will make a decision then. My partner has no doubts, he wants her back and would have took her the day we went to see her, but I am trying to get him to be more reasonable about it.
Treated myself to a big food processor today, Kenwood Multi (not a 'chef' model as they were too expensive) looking forward to using it but need to decide where to keep it. Hmm not much space also got a new line prop to help with drying outside. One day I might be more organised...........
