Only in selected resorts
We stayed here - family friendly with all the Maldives elements. White sand, bluest sea and friendly fish who swim all round you in shallow water.
OH went diving twice as well - so much time on the beach + in the sea together - we all loved it.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Wow. That looks amazing. Will add it to the list of places to go. Might have to wait till DD is old enough to scuba for that one!Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -
Oh I would so love to go to Disney! But being my age it's a bit difficult to get someone to come with me!0

I'll go, as long as you wear Minnie ears with me!
I'm lucky that my parents take my kids to Center Parcs for a week in the summer, so it takes some of the holiday pressure off but we find that we can get a holiday in the may/june half term for the best price combined with warm weather. We've done Gozo, Spain and France in a self catering villa with a pool for around that price and as said before, France is even cheaper and you can visit DLP on the way back to Calais, still for under £1300 - I really do love parts of rural France.
We're hoping to get into house swapping asap once house renovations are finished. I'm hoping that we can do some travelling around North America with the kids before they get too old to want to come with us.0 -

Actually, the opposite is true! There is only one entirely adult only island in the Maldives (Komandoo) and a couple with adult only sections or restricted ages in the waervillas.
It still baffles me why there aren't more adults only, lets just say it's a rather contentious issue on the Maldives Trip Advisor forum :rotfl:.
