I am really writing this for support from anyone else who is in the same position really.
I am 32 and suffer sever mental health problems thus i have been on income support for 7 years in DEC 2011 went to a atos medical and failed i appealed and was only seen one month ago 25th of April my appeal began 10th Feb 2012 so its been a long haul!
I just don't understand why it takes so long for them to calculate the correct monies? its 28.45x68!! simple maths!
Then the cwp payment of which there is 3 i am due 3x25!!!
i have called up many many times and only got to talk to an actual benefits person 3 days ago and he is now telling me that even tho i have waited a month already could be mid July!!!
UNACCEPTABLE! WHY? I NEED THE MONEY NOW ITS MY MONEY!

The ESA teams currently have a massive backlog. If you have confirmed they have the tribunal award, then you will have to wait for them to process it.0

I am 31 that was a typo not that it matters lol0

I would recommend contacting you MP and see if they can chase it up.
It's amazing when the DWP owe us money we are told they are busy, we must be patient etc etc, yet if we owed them money we would be up in court before we blinked!
No way would they accept any valid reasons why we needed to delay paying them yet people are expected to wait sometimes months for money that legally is theirs.0 -

Wow, that is quite a wait! Pretty shocking delay.
I'd suggest involving your MP too, it should give them a kick up the backside they obviously need although if there is a backlog you'll be in a queue of all the rank and file queries (as well as your big one).Thinking critically since 1996....0 -
I won an ESA appeal on 2nd August 2012, it took three weeks to get the DWP to acknowledge the award as they 'mislaid' their copy from the tribunal twice, I ended up scanning my copy and forwarding it via e mail. I was then told it would be twelve weeks minimum before any back pay would be calculated. I received the back payment at the end of November 2012.0

omgoodness for 3 and half months from tribunal- mine was 25th april 2013 and it was acknowledged 30th so five days later but the fello i spoke to yesterday said it would be july i was quite shocked and he then told me he would "have a word" with them upstairs an try to push things along???
So is it a case o whoever shouts the loudest?
If is is i will shout very loud indeed like someone else said its my money they made the error they need to fix it as if i owed council tax i would get threatened with fines, court and even prison very quick!
Plus why should dwp have mine and 100,s of other peoples owed money in there account gathering interest- no wounder they drag there heels!:T0 -
