Wrong. I can't see them giving you no tie in for the same price. For a start you don't get the £75 discount unless you fulfill the time with them. They told me this.
You are good at telling people that they are wrong when you haven't got a clue yourself and obviously don't understand the information that you have been given! Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

Thank you for again pointing out my shortcomings. But Sky telling me that the discount (£75) is to stay with them for the duration of 12 months kind of makes me understand the information.0 -

No it simple shows that you are rather slow to understand, as the rest of us have know that all along.
You hadn't even bothered to read this thread until yesterday!
You either take a "welcome discount" with no tie in or a credit payment to commit to a 12 month.
contract.
Why is that so difficult for your brain to understand! You obviously don't understand the implications of full LLU either. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

Why so facetious ? Absolutely no need.
"welcome discount" won't be £75 . Why is it so bad to be committed for 12 months anyway ?0 -
Why are you always so facetious ? Absolutely no need.

I am not always facetious. I could say why are you so thick!
The "welcome discount" offered to many is actually £90, which rather proves what I have said about you. You have accepted an offer without fully understanding what options are actually available to you and their implications.
You have decided that you want to commit to 12 months of unknown broadband - fine that is your choice even if it was an uninformed one and you were talked into it. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

Congratulations, you have managed another insult :T
It doesn't matter what good deal you post here. Someone will come along and poo poo it and suck all the joy from it.
I wasn't talked to anything. At first I was, then I phoned up Sky and said I wasn't happy. They offered me £75 as well as Free evening and weekend calls for £10 a month for 12 months -£75 which is £3.75 a month.
So tell me, what great tariff have you got then ?0 -

Not "wrong"
You do get an introductory offer when migrating!
The norm seems to be 50% off (worth more than £75 credit!), and more if you are an existing sky tv customer!
And you definitely do get no tie in.
You can simply migrate (they will delay it if you want to keep o2 to make use of their 12 months free deals) and get no tie in.
Take an early switch bribe and you definitely are tied in to 12 months!0 -

You say that you were not talked into anything but you obviously didn't understand what you had signed up to and then came on here expecting to be spoon fed with detailed info, rather than reading the thread for yourself.
So how much are your daytime weekday calls now going to cost you? I bet that you haven't even checked have you!
You stated that upload speed was important to you only yesterday but you now seem to have forgotten all about that after your bribe to switch early.
I have not negotiated any deal yet because I am not in any hurry and have so far refused to speak to Sky sales by blocking their number. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
