    So don't try to shove the blame onto Shell. You have my money, I have no voucher. Not much confusion there.

    While I think MD should be more careful with who they get into bed with, I must point out that Shell have got a bad track record of running petrol loyalty schemes.

    Their Pluspoints scheme, the predecessor to Driving Club, was plagued with issues of points not showing up in customers' accounts. The problems dragged on for years and Shell didn't sort them out. There were also major customer service issues; Shell UK fobbed off their Pluspoints customers by giving them the phone number of a German company who ran the IT backend system. When customers called the number they couldn't even get hold of anyone who spoke English!

    Irrespective of your contract with Shell, (which is irrelevant to your customers), WE were promised by you repeatedly that the vouchers were to be sent out in August.

    If you now say that this is all down to Shell, what steps are you taking against them for all the damage they have seemingly done to your business?

    We have apologised for confusion. Yes everyone purchased the deal from Mighty Deals, which is exactly why I have been on here responding to all customers from the day the deal launched. We were advised vouchers were supposed to be sent out in August, no conspiracies, no lies, just simply sent out later by Shell.

    So your saying shell lied?Over to you Shell,did you(shell) tell MD that the vouchers were being sent out the first two weeks in august or not? Shell,we wait your reply to that.

    I am saying there was miss-communication from Shell to ourselves. No lies from Shell. We have sent out confirmation which came directly from Shell advising everyone will have their fuel Voucher by 13th September. These unfortunately where sent out later than advised.

    I am not trying to blame anyone, I would just rather respond to comments and keep everyone in the loop, rather than not respond at all.

    I do believe its been a case of right hand and left hand not knowing what's happening but since had further issue with another deal I'm not inclined to buy any more deals.
  • I phoned up shell and they said it wou,d now be the end of September as they were inundated and were backed up, well we do know that happens on the mse deals sites go down etc though there has been quite a number of months to prepare for it. No point in getting annoyed with the lady on the phone she was very nice very apologetic so don't shoot the messenger but looking at the end of September now. One suggestion vote with ones feet regarding it all but don't cut your nose off if the pergola beat and cheaper at shell I will still get it there.
