Shell loyalty card - £20 of Fuel for £10

Only noticed as we got a new car and hubby's watching it like a hawk looks like 500 miles to this tank compared to nearly 600 from the shell at waitrose and the waitrose is down the road, with the 10p per litre I probably came out about even.

We are sending out an official response from Shell and ourselves via email, I have included this email below. I wanted to get it out to MSE customers first as I know there has been some confusion over the actual delivery date of the voucher from Shell. We stated the vouchers would be dispatched within 6 weeks of June 30th. That means they should have been dispatched by today, 12th August. They will however now be dispatched on August 26th.(official email from Shell & MightyDeals below)

Dear Customer,

Thank you for participating in our recent offer to buy £20 worth of Fuel for £10 through the Shell Drivers’ Club points scheme. I wanted to personally write to you to make you aware of when you will receive your vouchers.

The Shell Drivers’ Club statement process which sends the vouchers, occurs every quarter in February, May, August and November. As long as you registered your personal details to the Shell Drivers’ Club card sent to you by Mighty Deals by the end of June, you will receive your vouchers in the August statement.

We originally stated on the deal terms the voucher would be dispatched within 6 weeks from the 30th June. We are however now expecting these to be sent out to all customers from Monday 26th August. We would like to take this opportunity to apologise for the delay in sending out the vouchers. As this is done in batches it can take a few weeks, so I would expect at the very latest you will receive your vouchers by Friday 13th September.

If you did not register the card, then we will honour this for you and extend the period. Providing you register before the end of September, then we can send the vouchers to you at the end of November / early December. Please note we are unable to redeem points out of this cycle.

We do have a call centre for the Shell Drivers’ Club, in the unlikely event you have not received your vouchers by the 13th September and you did register the card, then please contact us at https://www.shell.co.uk/driversclub or alternatively on 08459 006 009.

You will, sainsburys is rubbish even the super, still burns like 95 ron.V power(or whatever it's new name is) and Tesco 99 are the fuels to use.

Agree with you to a degree - Shell have been !!!!s in all of this.

So what are you not happy about? You will be getting your vouchers, and you will be able to use them to buy petrol (or something at Waitrose).
