Incidentally did you not read this earlier post from the MD Rep?
I'm not happy that I bought something in the understanding that I would have it by a specified date. I am now subject to a delay. As a consumer I have every right to be dissatisfied.
Have you never bought something and been unhappy that it has been delivered late?
Not having to pay £20 on fuel this week would have been very handy.
It's not the first time this company has subjected people to a delay.0 -
You guys took the risk with a company such as Mighty Deals which has a less than perfect reputation. Now you know even more how they behave. The man without a signature.0

This is my first experience with MightDeals but when I bought the deal it said that previous problems had been ironed out.
I will know not to buy again.0 -

Yes, I am in dispute with another company who have failed to deliver, and am in contact with them. However, this was for a product that comes off a shelf, a one-off, not something like fuel which you will no doubt use all the time. So if you voucher comes on 1 September you will not have to pay for the first £20 then.Thank you for reading this message.0 -

It's my prerogative to be upset at a company who fails to deliver on a purchase (off the shelf or not) so really don't know why you feel the need to comment.
Bottom line, I was promised to be supplied with something on a certain date and the company has failed to keep that promise.

If not having to spend £20 on fuel this week would have been so handy then you are certainly in the right place - to sort your finances out.
As you would say - End of!0 -

Whether I'm flush or not is irrelevant and I really don't think this is the place to judge a persons finances.
You seem to be missing the point of being promised something by a retailer and being let down.
Bad customer service is my gripe...and many others if your read back.0 -

A number have already agreed that Shell have been a bit poor in this respect.
It's not like you paid for £20 of fuel and are being made to wait. You are getting £20 of fuel for £10 and less if you used a cashback site.
I do understand that things don't always go to plan and this is a time for that to be the case. But to wait a maximum of 4 weeks extra for £10 or more of free fuel isn't a disaster - let's put it into perspective a little.0 -

You have no right to say I don't have reason to be upset.
Maybe you're not.....I am!! Don't see why you need to comment unless you are a representative of the company in question.
Anyway I'm sure there's some other people on here that you can go get your bit in.0 -
What a shame the thread has disintegrated into nasty, uncalled for and childish comments.
For what it's worth, I agree with Napes99, not because I'm strapped for £20 but because I too, loathe bad service. I've kept my end of the bargain by giving the company my money, I don't think it's too much to ask for delivery by the time THEY specified. If we knew at the beginning it might be September, October even December when the vouchers would be delivered then it wouldn't be a problem. The problem is the ever moving deadline.
I've still no problem with MD, my beef is with Shell.
'til September then...Sex and Drugs and Sausage Rolls.0
