I unsubscribed from annoying Mighty Deals emails but still they come :-(0

I'm afraid you're missing the point altogether. It's not really just the delay that's concerning some of us, maybe all of us - it's the concern that the whole thing could just be a scam by Mighty Deals.
Mighty Deals had a poor track record before this offer was launched to harvest new customers. MSE even gave the deal a health warning because of that poor track record.
Now they've even managed to let people down on this deal - yet again. What does that tell you about Mighty Deals? It tells me very clearly to avoid them like the plague and never to trust them again.
That's simply my view - if you still trust them to deliver on deals, that's fine. I don't.
How can it be a scam when the points have appeared in a loyalty account managed by Shell?
Everything is a scam on here
Mighty Deals are getting a bad reputation yet Shell seem to be the problem by providing duff information.
I can't for a minute believe that Mighty Deals (whose previous reputation appears to be suspect) would be advised by Shell that vouchers would be sent late August and tell buyers that it would be early August. That would be business suicide.
I haven't missed any point.0 -
As far as I'm concerned Mighty Deals have delivered as promised.
I have a Shell card, with points worth £20 on it.
It is now up to Shell to deliver.
I'm fairly paid back about the timing. Yes, it would be nice to see the vouchers pop through the letter box, but if it takes a few more weeks, so be it.0 -
Be nice to hear a full and frank explanation from MD..One that shell would be happy to read and acknowledge as correct. If shell gave MD the wrong info then tell us.0

I agree with your last two sentences, but not the initial one.
I have a letter from MD stating that if you select the reward type by June 30, the fuel voucher will be dispatched within 6 weeks. This has not happened, so they are in breach of their own conditions - and now don't seem in any hurry to get this matter resolved for us who gave them our money and trust.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. We're getting a free £10.
This week, next week... just be grateful when it comes.
And if it doesn't, chase Shell!0 -
I'm expecting mine to come with the "normal" Shell run on when they deliver vouchers to both MD and "ordinary" Shell customers.
If that happens this month, I'll be "over the moon".
I only wish we could have bough a full years (or more) fuel at half-price. I'd wait 6 months or more for those coupons. lol
MD are not sending out these vouchers, so as long as they arrive as Shell normally send them, then MD have delivered the deal (IMO).
Hoping fuel prices drop a few pence by then also.

I agree with your sentiments, but unfortunately my local Shell has priced itself 2p above the local Sainsbury's. Still, the voucher will come in useful to buy £20 worth of petrol, and then fill up the rest at Sainsbury's down the road!Thank you for reading this message.0 -
Used sainsburys for petrol with my 10p off a litre found I'm getting much less to the gallon that with the shell. Saying that I took the waitrose vouchers its only down the road and on a good night or reductions I can get a fair lot for £20, it will come when it comes and I guess we just have to wait.0

TBH I use whatever petrol is nearest / cheapest at the time. I do keep a note of my mpg and mpl (!) and haven't noticed an appreciable difference - but I don't note which brand I use.Thank you for reading this message.0
