My ex brother in law (an alcoholic) was incontinent when drunk. Usually wee, but sometimes both.
He didn't purposefully "go" anywhere awful though, just where he had collapsed, or in his bed.0 -
I think your Mum needs to be sitting down with him and having a really serious talk about what happened and why. He needs some type of help for what caused this as its no way acceptable to come in from a night out and do this.
Someone I know who is a rugby player and a bouncer has his wife put on a towel round his bum like a nappy after a night out because he gets so paraletic that he does this.0 -
Was there any conflict before this? .. Sounds like a dirty protest.
:starmod:you're awesome.. act like it:starmod:0 -
It could be drink, my OH was not a heavy drinker or an alcoholic and no drugs, but there were 2 occasions where he had a lot to drink and acted out of character. Once he did a poo in his sock drawer in our chest of drawers, which he insisted next morning he could not remember doing, and once he took the deep fat fryer out of the cupboard, put it on the kitchen floor, flipped the lid and "woke up" just as he was about to pee in it _pale_0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I worked with a young woman who shared a (single) bed with her boyfriend who regularly got so drunk that he wet the bed in his sleep.
So yes it could be the drink.

oh jeez. Amazing how people can drink to that extent. I always throw up wayyy before it gets to anything like that level of intoxication.
Could this explain why he was pooing in his mum's purse and handbag. I really hope she made him clear it all up. I'm with JoJo I think I would have chucked his stuff outside.0 -
:eek:OMG thats awful your poor mother and I know its disgusting thing to do but I feel sorry for your brother too this is clearly not normal behaviour! However I think this could be a combination of too much drink and possibly the use of drugs........ the bed scene from trainspotting comes to mind_pale_.......... and yes losing control of your bowels is definitely associated with excessive drinking, I saw this with my father who had lots of these " accidents":( Come to think of it using your mother's purse something that is very personal to her could also mean he has perhaps underlying anger issues that are normally otherwise suppressed?
Be supportive if he is truly sorry for what he has done & make him replace everything he soiled!LOVE isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live WITHOUT0 -
What about sleep walking?
I think drink can provoke it and if it was he won't remember it.Final cigarette smoked 02/01/18

I think rather than people trying to diagnose him, the family should sit down and talk to him. I think many people do ridiculous things when drunk, I dont think Ive ever in a million years done that, but what if he had eaten something that really didnt agree with him, food poisoning for example.
Ive had food poisoning a few times and its nasty and Ive never done anything like that but had to stay within close range of a toilet at all times.
Or someone could have shoved a laxative in a drink for a laugh, you just dont know until you speak to him.0 -
Or he was that plastered that he did it anywhere and you really don't give a toss where you do it when your intoxicated.
What?
Don't know about you, but no matter how completely trollied I and my friends have been (and anyplace you get a bunch of musos, there is a high likelihood of trolleydom), we have always been capable of finding the toilet.
Admittedly, there have been isolated occasions where someone has gone missing in the house and the resultant search has revealed they were on the bathroom floor, but the toilet itself has still been used appropriately.
Anyhow, we're all getting on a bit now, so it's more likely that someone falls asleep on the sofa at about 4am and there's an impromptu sleepover.
Didn't you ever wonder why musicians tend to dress cheaply, eat rubbish, but have expensive instruments, stereos and sofas?I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
