i hope not BUT!
i saw one side effect of ketamine, where by the fellow had so serious hellucinations he thought he was in the loo but he was infact taking a horrible loose sh"te all over the dance floor, and when he started he was so out of it it didnt stop for 3 or 5 five mins and completely emptied, the same night he thought a lampost was prossy and was sticking his bits to a minus 6oC lampost in the middle of town slipping a £10 note into what he thought were bussoms but was actually a litter bin stuck to the lamppost, he froze his bit to post temporarily untill he urinated on himself on "they" were set free, we called an ambulance inthe end wich he thought was his taxi and tried getting into the front drivers seat, the police came and subdued him to be taken to hospital.
but thats just my uptake on an otherwise tollerant (and use that term loosely infact would go to say average known binge in the past).
pcp LSD spiked with E dunno and he wont tell either to protect himself and his mates.0 -

Sounds like he got a little too drunk and wasn't completely in control of his decision making. All sorts of drugs including alcohol affect people's behaviour in different ways, so without a test for whatever specific drug you have in mind there is noway of knowing unless you catch him shooting up in the back garden.
Honestly it's not a nice picture, but the boy is 19, and most likely very embarrassed. When he is ready to talk about it, I would suggest a calm approach, not one as though no-one has ever done anything stupid when they were a teenager. Maybe he could replace items that were damaged, including say the carpet, with whatever money he makes, or with a little extra than his share of chores.
If and when someone starts showing signs of drug addiction, which this isn't really one of, they will need support more than anything else.
I once had my drink spiked at a bar, I was about 17, thankfully one of my friends noticed my behaviour was off and called my Mom, to take me home. A lot of people were under the impression that I'd taken something with the exception of my closer friends and my mom, a week later the same thing had happened to someone else at the same bar and they caught the guy out, who'd admitted he'd targeted that bar for some time.
Another time while I was on prescribed SSRIs for OCD, they sent me very 'off' and I licked a stranger.
Abit TMI probably, but I just want to highlight that sometimes irresponsible behaviour is not the fault of the person, and when they are young they are vulnerable, unless he is maliciously defecating on people's property he may need more support than sanction.Debt Starting: £1995 | Current Debt: £1105

When I was going through my house-sharing days I came across a few people (always friends of housemates) who were known to relieve themselves in weird places when really drunk, and I know from conversations that this behaviour sparked off that it sometimes wasn't limited to just wee.
It was always just excessive drink that caused it, never drugs.
Of course it's absolutely disgusting, but should really be the catalyst to getting the person to drink less in future. No-one in their right mind would be comfortable knowing they've got the potential to do that, and if they're getting in a state where something like that is possible then they simply aren't in control of their actions.0 -
Oh dear, not nice, he must be mortified, a good talking to and hopefully he'll never put himself and everyone else through such a trauma, I would say it's alcohol but at 19 he could be doing drugs too.0

This was my thought. I work in the legal world, and know of a legal professional who had developed a slight liking for cocaine.
Cocaine is cut with a random selection of other powders (everything from codeine, baking soda, talc etc) and several batches that came into London last year were contaminated with ketamine. This can have horrendous laxative effects on the person ingesting it. The chap was found in his office in the city by the cleaners, who had 'followed the trail' from the Reception area. He was invited to waive his final notice pay in lieu of receiving a bill for the repairs.
Then again, whatever the cause, the OP's brother should face up to what he did, clean up, pay up, and damn well sober up. There is no excuse for getting that sloppy drunk. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
