Yes it was wasn't it - leaving low stars for your idiocy..

How do you know what other costs the seller incurred? - For all you know they could of had a 5 mile trip to the post office to send it to you. Why should the seller absorb that?

You wanted it, you agreed to pay it. Simple as that.

Ultimately this thread is about some people wanting to go back on a deal they made and then trying to justify it.

This is the correct attribution for the post. When I used multiquote it clearly attributed it wrongly.

I have no idea what you are alluding to here. I pressed quote on your post and this is how it came out. I would never falsify a quote why would that be necessary, really do grow up and calm down.

Or did you make the comment and delete it?
So now you are accusing me of what exactly????

Can't even apologise, instead turn to insults and accusations. Your actions and words here make it ever more clear why you have been penalised in the past by eBay for your behaviour. You really are showing your true colours. Never your fault, always someone else's. It must be very tiring being as faultless as you think you are.

But don't bother making up something else to accuse me of, I have dealt with your sort many times before and I realise that all you will do is attempt to drag me down to your level and then use your experience to try and brow beat me. So instead, I will sign off this thread and leave you to your twisted, spiteful self.
Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.

That is up to the individual though. As far as I am concerned when I sell I charge the correct postage and when I buy I expect to pay the correct postage.

You can't use the arguement that it's up to the individual otherwise that would go for everything and nothing would be "unfair".

Look, you are clearly a tad unhinged here. I have explained what happened was a glitch in the multiquote system, nothing to do with me. I have re posted the correct quote. What more can I do?

You clearly have an issue with those who have an opinion which differs from yours. However, I have learned from my mistakes as a newbie seller on Ebay and changed my posting charges.

You obviously overcharge routinely and see my comments as personal affront. If the caps fits wear it and own up to it, but do not try to bring into the debate extraneous and irrelevant issues, or exploit a system mistake to gain the moral high ground.

You accused me of doing something which I simply didn't do, and I returned the compliment. Yet you want an apology? Goes both ways.

And do calm down, difference of opinion is fine, personal insult is not. Whose posts contain the latter?

We are talking about individuals making personal buying and selling decisions here not life and death. I am happy with a small overcharge, not happy with a cost of £2.60 when I paid £7, if you are that is fine.

sorry but if you agreed to pay £7 then don't then that is a form of extortion!

Remember that little ebay notice that says
' you agree to pay' ????

don't click the bid button if you are not going to pay. Leave the seller to fade away.....

But surely that "contract" is based on the fact that the charge is listed as postage and packing?

Now, when I buy I cannot be sure whether it is going to arrive in a box, tissue wrapped and so could cost in that region. In the case I am detailing it came in a carrier bag, with a black bin bag outer, with a £2.60 sticker from the PO.

So, if I cannot reasonably see that the cost equates to the stated charges in the stated categories it is not I who have broken a contact term. As Ebay will tell you.

    You admit it then :T

On a side note, I will back you up and confirm that the quote and multiquote on this forum can be a bit screwy. Whenever I use multiquote the first message never shows up. With his £80million you'd think Martin could get that fixed wouldn't you?
