  • A "STAY" is only valid for ONE MONTH?
  • Well its taken 2 months so far with four too claim back charges on in the small claims court as they dont want to pay anything more than the difference between old charges and the £12 new ones.

The company takes care of the payments for court etc?

Barclays alone has cost me £50....

Moneyclaim is where all MCOL claims go to start with, should it get as far you having to appear in Court it will then be transferred to one local to you.

Why are you going to use a company that charges you 25% for Capital One? There are so many stories on here of people being ripped off by said companies.

my thought exactly. capital one is the easiest one to claim off. i did it all by myself. cap1 are so predictable. after calculating all your charges send them letter, they reply offering difference of £12 you say no and claim for full amount plus interest plus court costs, then they say they will pay up in full. i started mine six weeks ago when i asked for my list of charges and this week i received letter saying that they are going pay me in full within 14 days. so within 2 months i would have successfully claimed £581 without having to give anyone else a cut of it. ditch the company and do it yourself - its easy especially with all the support you get from this website. good luck poppasmurf.

    hi

accept it as part payment and carry on. courts shouldnt stay your claim even if it gets to court.

    good luck

    Hiya Rosco1112
You probably wouldn't be able to reclaim these charges, as they ar the £12 limit as set out by the OFT, and all credit card companies have lowered their charges to this, even though it is still a rip off charge.
Also your credit rating will be affected by the fact that you have incurred late payment charges, sorry to say.

    Hope this helps
