Just a quick post this eve,

Nothing to report moneywise sitting here twiddling my thumbs waiting for CSA and payday ,

Pre-teen stroppy as usual:rotfl: , stroppy with AWOL dad when he popped in to see her quickly, minus the school trip money but brought us a choc bar instead .... So naturaly he considers this act of kindness qualifies him as super dad of the year ,and can't understand why DD is stroppy and angry at him for letting her down last weekend :mad:

    And breath ......

Oh and I'm debating whether im crazy enough To go out with the girls on Sunday and repeat last weekends antics :rotfl::rotfl::beer: DD will be away with grandparents or the weekend and I'm home alone hmmmm desicions decisions .....

If you've the opportunity to go and let your hair down, then go for it! Who knows when you'll next get the chance!
Me and OH are the same. Used to have the house to ourselves every Tuesday and Saturday night. Now we never get a Tuesday at all, and we're lucky to get 1 Saturday night every couple of months! :o Make the most of it!!

I'm sure the chocolate bar was lovely. Great contribution to the school trip. Not :p

    Evening

Not had a good day today :(

Started with doctors cancelling my appointment which was today I've been waiting for 6 weeks finally get an appointment then they cancel:mad:

Delightful Ex called to say that he is starting a new job next week which means that CSA payments will stop:mad: he currently has a deduction of earnings order Because he tries to avoid paying for DD .however he now wants to pay me directly :o I've been in this position before and he is unreliable with payments . I was trying to come to some arrangement with him on the amount to pay (if he does pay at all ) anyway it just ended up in a huge argument .

Whilst arguing on the phone with ex my mum let's herself into my house (as we were going shopping together ) she hears the end of the argument and gets the jist that it's about money . End call to ex and go out with mum . My mum then won't shut up about ex (she hates him ) telling me what I should and shouldn't say to him . Anyway I told her to not talk about it and get on with our day .
Mum then turns car around and drops me back home asks me to get out of car telling me that ex has done nothing but ruined mine and DD life and she wishes he was dead then she drives off .

I just can't bl00dy win  trying to please everyone and treading on egg shells can't say that to him , this to her , don't pi$$ mum off by talking about ex , just put up and shut up with ex because he will strop with me and DD will suffer :mad::mad:

Anyway I spent the rest of the day crying and feeling pretty rubbish ,not spoken to mum and Ex turned up to see DD after school and nothing about money was mentioned .

And to top it all I could really do with a night out with friends this weekend but no money :( going to be all alone this weekend as DD is away :(:(:(

Sorry for rant just needed to get that out there probably doesn't make any sense

    Hello Dollie

Re CSA I had this with my ex. Inform CSA that he is moving jobs and let them sort it out. It will mean a break from money (though if like my exs company I get it over a month after it has been taking out if his wage) but you will get the back pay, and it saves arguements about it.

Try not to be too upset re the arguement with your mum, sometimes its hard for people to understand unless they live it.

As for being at home, I Would either lay in the sun all day or stay in pjs and watch movies all day:)

Hi Dollie....I haven't got much to say except to say sorry that you're feeling down....I get lots of "down days" and you just have to get through them and trust that Life WILL get better....

Your Ex sounds horrible....but I agree with the above Poster....let the CSA sort it out....don't trust him that he will pay his way when he clearly hasn't in the past....

I hope that you are feeling better....I have subscribed and will keep up with your Journey....

    All the best x

Hi all thanks for all the replies ,

Typical have the house to myself no need to get up and .here I am at the crack of Dawn wide wake . I have managed to finish my book though :j

Not much to report just counting down the days till payday and I know it's going to be the longest week ever .

I have paid £1.03 towards the next debt , and all bank accounts checked and looking good (ish) .

As for the whole Ex,CSA and money situation I have to give it some thought as to what to do . I can only base my decisions on past experiences. Previously Ex hasn't paid regularly if at all and the odd payment hasn't been enough , when I have contacted the CSA he avoids all communication with them which clocks up an arrears and eventually the money owed is taken directly out of his wages . It has previously caused some very upsetting and stressful times for me as he rants and raves and doesn't understand why he has to pay so much . I need to really think about what to do as the less stress the better .

The whole situation is slightly more complicated as my DD isn't his only child and he has a daughter a couple of years younger and has now got a son who is 9months old all with different women so hopefully he will be an @r$e to them about money and they can report him to CSA and get the stress.

Anyway I have done a rough budget for june and July and not included any monies for maintenance,if I get any money either through Ex directly or CSA then that is a bonus .

Sun is shining so going to put washing on the line
    Have a lovely day

    Dollie x

    Hi Dollie!

Glad you're having a better day...I think planning without the money is a good idea but it sounds like the maintenance payments will cause stress whichever way round things happen! Hope it's relatively stress free for you, keep up the debtbusting, you're doing a great job!
