It matters not how many CCJs... what matters is how the situation arose as a whole. All debts are listed for the receiver - only difference is the receiver needs to take action to stop further action against the CCJs as it is now them responsible for realising the assets of the company.
(Speaking as somebody who has dealt with the Insolvency Service)
Just don't let your heart rule your head.
Remember the £60 hearing fee if they decide to defend it, even if they don't turn up.
Maybe half a dozen creditors can get together to have it officially wound up - and spread the cost amongst you all? But even then, it's more of a case of hoping the directors receive their comeuppance as you still may not see your money.
And of course hoping they don't get a good lawyer to depend any action by the receiver -- unlikely mind if one of them is finding alternate employment. They can't be doing that well.0 -
Just done some research and he was also director off EMERGENCY REPAIR SOLUTIONS LTD which was dissolved after 18 months in 2009. Not sure what he did between then and 2012. But one thing I do know is often rouge traders have a long last of dissolved companies and directorship and I simply cannot see that. So either they've genuinely tried giving it a go and it's gone wrong or they've only just figured out how to play the system. If the latter, if CCJs have been outstanding for a while then a receiver may decide there was reasonable cause to consider the company to be insolvent without the prospect of trading through - which is a serious offense if they continued to build up debts.0

I meant starting an action on MCOL is £25. What I mean by the more people chase it is exactly what you point out, if he's found to have been operating illegally by continuing to run up debts knowing that he can't pay them off then the more people that have chased him and maybe got defaults the more obvious it'll be they knew they had debts, I think that makes sense! lol
The other thing is leaving it, IMO, just allows them the luxury of peoples apathy. I do see your point arcon I just don't see how allowing him to get away with it too easily reminds him/them that he will be held accountable.
Its frustrating either way.0 -
What I will add is that the more views these threads get the more chance we will stop others even working for them and indirectly stop him from trading. They show up nicely on google, so much so Wayne's read them. Yum0

Oh right, I see your point.

I to have been onto action fraud on 0300 123 20401 as has been suggested on here and reported them. We are owed money from works undertaken in january. We have even gone through the court route with a bailiff sent out, but the address we had been given is a house & supposedly the company owns nothing in it. The address we have is for Your Building Maintenance Ltd, 26 Barry Moore Walk, Rayleigh Essex SS6 8YF (also known as AME services)
If you try going to their website - there isn't one
Please if you are in the same situation contact action fraud as the more cases they have, something may eventually be done. They suggested we try & see if the police could help with locating the people we have spoken to from your building maintenance. Haven't done this yet.
The names of the people i spoke to about the jobs we did & for payment are Robin Bailey, Caroline Mead, Wayne Mead.
If anyone has some joy, please let us know0 -
Hi Logicgirl,
I have a lot of information regarding the lovely Meads and Robin Bailey. The address you used for the bailiff isn't the correct one, I've made complaints about this to the companies house but it doesn't seem they have listened.
The correct address is 75 Manners Way, which is also available on the companies house web site. They are, apparently, no longer working at the Dragon Enterprise Centre as they couldn't pay the bills. They work from their home which is the manners way address.
Whether they have any money is beside the point, they have an account which can be chased and frozen if needs be. You may find that you can ring their bank which is Lloyds/TSB and find out whether or not money has been paid to the bank. Please don't believe anything Wayne tells you as he and his wife tell so many lies I think they've actually forgotten what they've told people.
I have chased them too and had the company served with a court order to attend court for questioning which will take place on the 3rd September at Southend County Court. How well this goes and whether Wayne attends is another matter but if he doesn't a judge will order him there so long as the company is still trading, I've also been told that the insolvency service may block any attempt to voluntarily wind the company up due to the financial irregularities.0 -
I've spoken to Wayne and he's told me the case is in the hands of the solicitors. All should be paid at the conclustion.0

Rocket_man please tell me you're not going to believe that??
The guy is a bloody liar, he's incompetent, he's broke!
In the hands of what solicitor? Solicitors need paying and he never paid the company he employed to chase the outstanding debts.
I'll tell you, and everyone else, what I've been told by the companies who owe Your Building Maintenance Ltd money, Wayne and the lovely Caroline are completely to blame for everything. They couldn't even sort the invoices out correctly so they could get paid for gods sake!
These two were told to sort out their invoices and they would get paid and they couldn't even do that!!
I thought he told you that you were going to be paid within the week? What happened to that then?
I drove past his house on Sunday, the Manners Way property, when I hear that he's had to down size from that big house and rent somewhere befitting a complete twit with his head in the clouds then I'll be happy and not until. Actually I'll settle for him going out of business!
Stop defending him Rocket_man he's a liar!
p.s. I have the number for the company bank and the account details for anyone that wants them?0 -
Going to start by saying a lot of you are being unfair.
I was actually an employee of Your Building Maintenance and Wayne & Caroline are friends of mine. Everyone has their opinions and views of a company because of being told things via a telephone, which you are all welcome to.
I just want to point a couple of things for you because I think a lot of you are unclear of the FULL situation.
When I joined in January to help Wayne, Caroline and Robyn, every intention was there that engineers would be paid within 30 days of invoice, the vision that this would be carried on for every job that an engineer done was there, however, there where complications. Which I will now explain.
The clients that YBM had did in some mess Caroline around in regards to paying / invoicing, for example.
Crystal, refused to pay invoices as they needed to clear a VAT bill, then they when bust and agreed to pay £500 per month on a £8-9k bill.
Richardsons, 6 months of work for them, quoting works, they then come back to say they wanted all works done via a schedule of rates which was never agreed to when YBM first agreed to works for Richardsons. Also, prices agreed between engineers and YBM then onwards to Richardsons where given between 5-10% lift. Example, engineer quotes £200 for a PCB board change, YBM would quote Richardsons around the £220-230 mark. Now, after these works where carried out, Richardsons did not pay for 6 months. In that time, Wayne & Caroline funded engineers invoices out of their own pocket. As im sure you are aware, a newly found company with not a lot of backing can only fund so much before it starts getting late on invoices. Which is why, engineers like most of you, calling the office where told it would be paid in 7 days, 14 days ect ect, because that was what Richardsons had been saying for months.
I myself am owed nearly £1500 for 5 weeks work from YBM backdating to end of May, which, I do not think I will get and will affect our friendship, not because Wayne & Caroline have pocketed the money, because they have been shot in the foot by clients.
In this post I am not saying Caroline, Wayne and Robyn are innocent, there are things they have done that they could of done better to allow the business to run better and they might not be in the situation they are in.
I just wanted to take some time, after moving on from YBM, to let some people, and to all people that read this thread, that they have NOT pocketed monies from the company.
To the UncleBulgaria guy: I would like to say I think you are bang out of order. I understand you are owed money, and you have every right to chase that money via legal routes, going to someones house where they have children, young children at that, so too cause hassle and distress to them by doing that, is very unfair and think you should really think next time before going there. I mean, from what I know, they have lost that house anyway and no longer live there.0
