  • But if the utilities bills are still in my name then I, m up !!!! Creek yeah, I was renting out my takeaway to a couple that use to work for me for last 16 months, they would just pay me rent and the bills whenever it came. About 3 weeks ago they done a runner and last week I got I letter from bg saying gas meter has been tampered and they want this amount of money otherwise disconnection
  • So 2 professional thieves are morally less repugnant than 2 clueless thieves?

    They are thieves.

    And were professionals-all true.

Not my job though to start reporting people. And I don't buy this idea of moral responsibility with the behaviour of politicians and utility companies.

If I had any expertise in electrics I'd probably be doing it myself.

However I haven't. So have to pay the full bill.

Just because are sparkeys does not mean safe, their are different levels of qualification and they are different. The theft would be from the council if from the streetnlights
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
  • We are not talking about the things you have listed in that.

I knew a foolish comment would come.

You may not have noticed, but my comment was actually a question. Obviously I used some serious offences in comparison: my question was when _would_ you intervene?

As others have pointed out, the foolish comment wasn't mine.

    I smell a troll.

No, just somebody you can't get the better of.

A poster private messaged me asking whether one of the people I have mentioned was such and such in that somebody he knows is using exactly the same method.

ie-locked cupboard, turn it on now and again. Own readings.

I don't know the name mentioned so it seems that this practice is more widespread than first thought.

I think you are def up the creek. There was one near me which had all electric and gas supplies completely removed including digging up external connections as well as the meters, because the drug addict tenants had bypassed meters three times. 6k owing including 2k reconnection fee. If the accounts in your name you have messed up. As far as they are concerned you are responsible for the meters

    Come on.

Whatever the levels of regulation they have I think I'd trust them to get it right well before any vietnamese cannabis grower.

Besides, I don't think they'd take many chances in burning down their detached houses.

    Well I'll attempt to answer.

Rape-well, I wouldn't have to report it because if it was ongoing I'd physically intervene. Crying woman/at the door then I'd get on the blower.

Murder-depends, one scumbag kills another, use my judgement on that. I don't trust the police to look after me.

Arson-well, hardly likely to see it started. Ring the professionals.
