Hmm..having problems getting my end of year (annual) statement out of them. Year End was 12th March - phone calls were met with give it 6 weeks, last call 2 weeks ago was I'd have the bill by end of last week. Still no sign and now their line is permanently engaged.
They haven't take my DD since February (so first year paid up) but confirmed I'd moved onto the new 12 month lower price for the new gas year.
All was efficient and well up until March this year. Now, getting a bit worrying. Anyone else experiencing the same?Back on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180 -
UPDATE
Decided to give them a try and received an email advising me to scan or print off the terms and conditions and send back to them. A few days ago I was advised the switch date is 1 June. However I did not sign and return the terms and conditions so I am surprised the transfer went through.
When I spoke to them they said if you are not happy just transfer back again.
Even though I have never agreed to their T+C's I will see how things go.0 -

Update from me too:
Annual bill still not received - spoken to them by phone this morning and they say I will receive it today.
Received the new DD amount for the year 15/16 - £8 a month less on the new FIX12 - took first one yesterday - but note no-one gave them permission to change the date of the DD from mid-month to start (they're changing for July). The new DD takes into account no payments made in April and May, so 10 months for 12 months use.
Apparently I've also a refund being credited to my bank account on the 6th June - over-estimated my usage. Surprised they don't incorporate into the new year, but not a problem.
They are getting there, just frustratingly slow, not enough communication and missing the dates for delivering they set themselves.
Having said all that, for the price, I'm stayingBack on the DFW Wagon:

It is very simple to set up a spreadsheet to monitor your bills. As energy suppliers seem to find it difficult to get things right, it is well worth doing.
Can we have a copy of ur s/s plz? :-))0 -
Left them for Zog Energy, transferred over on 15/02/15.
Emailed them 28/03/2015 suggesting they may want to send me a statement so we can settle any credit/debit outstanding.
Email received back 30/03/2015 saying the calculation would be sent "soon" and they had lots of statements to do at this time of the year.
I sent my calculations to them today to see if that would help them along.
I reckon they owe me about £100.0 -
Can we have a copy of ur calculations to use plz? Thanks :-))
Sure. They're here:

We have been very happy with Daligas for over a year since we became been customers - though we almost switched last week as Better Energy had a tariff which was cheaper for us.
I even emailed Daligas last week to see if they would be lowering their prices but they naturally said they could not tell me and to keep an eye on their site.
Well, they have :j
There is a new Daligas One Fix Saver 15 tariff available - a slightly higher standing charge but a lower per unit charge than the tariff it replaces - certainly the cheapest on the market now for us (and a £70 saving on the old tariff for us)
Like the last time they introduced a new tariff, if existing customers email them a request to change tariff and include an up to date meter reading they should change you across no problem - our request is already in..
Best,

My initial switch to Dali was over 18 months ago and everything went smoothly. I'm the sort of customer who would move easily if the service or price was an issue and I'm still with them!
Their tariff structure is very simple - normally just one or 2 rates on offer at any time and they have always been very competitive!
They are a small operation but on the 3 times I have contacted them I have got through very quickly. Do be aware they work normal office hours Mon-Fri, no extended hours support!
The billing process is different to the big 6 and may not be to everyone's liking .... at the start of the year they present a budget plan based on estimated future KWh usage. They collect a fixed DD every month and only do an account reconciliation annually. I submit meter readings online every month but until the end of the year you have no indication of whether you are under or over paying! In my case I was over by a few hundred pounds after 12 months. I had to chase twice for an annual statement but when it came (by email) the cash was also refunded to my bank within a few days. For someone worried about a surprise bill or who wants quarterly updates this could be a problem - they only do the comparison on actual use annually (or when you leave).
The monthly "bill" is in effect just a receipt for the DD taken. It does NOT show the cost of actual Gas used, that only comes on the annual reconciliation statement.
I recently completed an online switch away to Better Energy - the process started and I got an email from Dali confirming I was leaving. Without any selling pressure they also advised me that they had recently dropped their own prices and sent a web link. Sure enough the new tariff was cheapest and I cancelled the transfer without any problems.
Service has been good, price is the cheapest for me and most importantly the gas keeps flowing! So long as you can handle the financial true-up on an annual basis (or tracking you own costs) I would have no hesitation in recommending DaliGas.0
