Never had a problem with them and always found their website works well. However very limited to what you can do. Very basic.
  • I have now moved away from Daligas as I found a cheaper supplier so here is my experience.

Jan 2016 - joined, opening reading accepted and past to old supplier. No issues.
March 2016 - changed to cheaper Daligas tariff by email and included latest meter reading, reply within 5 days. monthly statement reduced to show new tariff costs.
July 2016 - left, but Daligas still wanted to take DD nearly 3 weeks after I had left. Cancelled DD and emailed Daligas explaining.
August 2016 - email reply within 3 days, saying final bill was on the way soon. Final bill arrived but used just the latest tariff for the whole of my time with them. Emailed them and told them that the final bill was £2.52 in my favour, explaining why. Reply within 2 days saying thank you for letting us know but we are still returning the credit as calculated. Money in bank 33 days after account closed.

    So findings are:
    1. Daligas are not for people who cannot calculate their own bills and who don't read their meters regularly.
    2. There is no online accounts system.
    3. Monthly email only shows Direct Debit amount to be taken which 1/12th of the estimated yearly amount.
    4. Account system they do have is not good enough to create a 100% correct bill.
    5. email questions are answered within 5 days and in plain English too.
    6. Phone calls to Daligas are hard as lines are often busy.
    7. Watch the DD when you do leave.

Have recently joined them and apparently switching tomorrow. All seems OK so far but their website seems basic with no access to your account and the meter reading form requires quite a bit more information than most other companies require. This won't be a problem if everything goes to plan and they continue to give decent deals.

I was with them I think for just over the year and found them excellent. However I left them two months ago and still awaiting their settlement letter. I know I only owe them a few pounds but thought they would have finalised things by now.

I left them at the start of August but they still haven't issued a final bill. I have been chasing them as they owe me a refund but what else can you do to get your money back?

I left about 3 months ago and still no sign of the final bill. Not worried as I owe them about £9.00. I only left on price and find them very good.

Why does Daligas issue the monthly statement which just shows a 12 month DD breakdown but no meter readings ?
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill

Joined Daligas last May and they estimated my usage would be 8500kWh and worked out my DD accordingly (£21.41 per month which would be correct for 8500kWh). Had a "review" and they have decided that they need to up my monthly payment by £9 per month which is fair enough if I was using more gas tan originally estimated, however, they still estimate my usage to be 8500kWh.

Have emailed asking about clarification but they really don't seem very professional. Will be glad to leave when my contract ends as I have absolutely no confidence in them but I fear that I will be chasing refunds for months.
