Daligas Energy reviews: Give your feedback

Well, I had my first bill from Daligas and, wait for it............., it was correct. I send monthly meter readings.
I have transferred to the more favourable "Fix 12". My new payment plan is not correct and I am waiting to hear from them. Email queries seem to take 3 or 4 days for a response. Miles better than Scottish Power so far (not difficult).
It is very simple to set up a spreadsheet to monitor your bills. As energy suppliers seem to find it difficult to get things right, it is well worth doing.Je suis sabot...0 -
In the end it took just over 3 months and a lot of hassle to get my refund back from Daligas. Don't believe anything they say or promise about refunding you.0

Terrible company when it comes to switching from it to another supplier. Took months to get a final bill and credit. Other than that service was OK, didn't get monthly bills from them.0

How often do they bill? And is their online service any good?0

They have no online service as such, except a way to submit a meter reading.
Bills seem to be generated by submitting a meter reading, but have taken 2 weeks and 8 weeks from submission of meter reading based on my two bills so far.
The backroom operation seems poor, and emails constant promise whatever you asked for "soon".
It took them 8 weeks to refund a small overcharge on my first bill and I'm still waiting for the corrected bill.
I wouldn't recommend them.0 -
very poor communication, especially after leaving, 5 e mails have gone unanswered, maybe because they owe me £100, billing is done only on request via an excel document, very unprofessional,
even if the cheapest I will certainly never go back to this tin pot company.......AVOID0 -
Left them for Zog Energy, transferred over on 15/02/15.
Emailed them 28/03/2015 suggesting they may want to send me a statement so we can settle any credit/debit outstanding.
Email received back 30/03/2015 saying the calculation would be sent "soon" and they had lots of statements to do at this time of the year.
I sent my calculations to them today to see if that would help them along.
I reckon they owe me about £100.43580 -
Lots of people seem to think they are owed £100+
Lots of people appear to have overestimated their annual usage on sign up by 3300+ kWh
Hope they've all revised their annual estimations when using a comparison site and switching supplier0 -

I'd rather overpay by ~15%-25% to avoid a bill shock if we have a particularly cold winter; most suppliers are quick to refund at the anniversary and I then use the overpayment for my holiday spending money. Daligas do seem to be dragging their heels.
(3002 KwH in my case)43580 -
To their credit, they called today to confirm my refund and that it would be back in my bank account on 24/02. (I was 61 pence out on my calculation it seems)43580
