    Hi

I have used the MSE tool and Daligas have come 1st for Gas I have had a convo with the lady on the phone Yes she does speak the lingo (Big Plus!) Agreement was sent same day via e-Mail sent back signed to them and less then 48hours later confirmation they have the signed agreement (Great!) I keep you updated once switched in full, it's a no frills but it's the savings I'm more intrested In sorry Npower I been a customers with you for 9years with Gas & Electric but now going with the smaller guys, Daligas & Extra Energy are going to be my new supplier for each energy needs for myself
Oh well we only live once ;-)
  • 9 months in, and now in the peak consumption period.
    No problems yet.

I just checked to see if Daligas had lowered their prices for new customers after energy prices fell so much - but no, it's exactly the same as when I signed up.
  • I've just passed my anniversary with daligas. I was expected a request for a meter reading, but was not asked for one, so sent one on anniversary day. After two weeks I asked when they would send me the new budget plan. Apparently it takes 4 weeks from a meter reading. So looks like it will be nearly two months between payments to them due to this odd behaviour.

Still very happy with daligas however.

I've also had this odd experience. I spent a whole year on a DD based on estimated usage (I think I have reduced consumption a lot since the previous year though) and I have had to chase them with meter readings and I haven't had a bill since 17th of November. Hopefully everything will work out. Not had any major problems

Transferred last month and all went smoothly. Certainly, "no frills" but cannot be worse than Scottish Power who couldn't get anything right.

I'm starting to get annoyed at Daligas. I've had to chase daligas again since its been over 6 weeks since I gave them a meter reading still no settlement (they owe me money) or a new budget plan. They told me two days agos I would get a new budget plan "soon".

I do wonder if I had underpaid for my usage last year, if they would be equally laid back about me settling with them.

I switched away from daligas at the start of December having never received any bill from them. I have requested a refund of my substantial credit balance that has built up and which will easily cover any bill but they say that they have not received a final reading from my new energy company. My new company have already billed me and I have provided my opening reading to daligas.

Its 2 months since I switched away from them and they are coming up with excuses not to refund my credit balance.

One tip for everybody -- when you switch suppliers, send your final reading to BOTH companies. I know the new company is supposed to contact the previous one, but if you send your reading to both, there can be no argument.

It is an absolute disgrace that most energy companies have to be cajoled, threatened, begged to refund a credit balance after transfer. I strongly suggest that you run down your credit balance before you transfer to a new supplier by reducing your DD.

I am with Daligas but it's early days. I will update when I get the first bill.

Not happy with Daligas, moved to another supplier. Have a credit on the account getting that back is proving to be a nightmare!

    AVOID!

Just finished my year long contract with Daligas, never had bill throughout term only an email receipt for payment. Never told my usage during term, never replied to multiple my emails asking for final account until I threatened them with charging them interest on my outstanding credit. Answered next day saying I will be credited in two week time. (I sent final readings to Daligas and my new provider, I also informed them one month in advance that I was leaving them according to their T&C's giving them the opportunity to match or beat my new quote, they declined, even though they have now reduced their tariff.

Strange way to do business or to retain customers...
