  • I'm totally guessing but that 'small print' probably only allows for a 1% or so increase.

Pagett's experience is probably because they have had to hire temps/use a phone agency extremely recently. Business will be brisk this month.
  • With my fingers crossed, I've just joined up with this company. I'm prepared to take a risk for a claimed saving of almost 25% over the nearest competitor. I'll report back.

Worse company ever!! After months and months of chasing I have given up. I Was promised refunds for errors they made, for four months I was paying them by direct debit but really they had switched my neighbour instead of me!! This left me with a really high bt bill and they only offered me ten pounds which was meant to be refunded weeks ago and still hasn't been... Worse customer service ever recieved, AVOID!!!
  • I have been following this and other related forums for more than 1 year now and I decided to register because I felt I had to tell my experience with Daligas.
I have been with them since April 2013 ( one of the first customers I guess, switched through a comparison site) and their behaviour has been absolutely perfect. I have saved more than 150 pounds switching to their variable tariff and now they offered to switch me to their even cheaper fixed rate. So far so good .
  • After seeing the savings I could make on the comparison sites I decided to take the risk and switched. I switched to Daligas 5 months ago (1st of June) and I already saved £120 on my bills! The switching process was really efficient. I highly recommend it for those who want to save money plus you are always free to go without any early termination fees so if their price goes up I will try to look after my pocket...
  • I am interested in switching to Daligas but am wondering about the clause "7.b Maintenance - You will be responsible for the maintenance of the gas meter and equipment at your expenses...."
Normally there is no maintenance but I have had my meter changed/updated at the supplier request in the past. It is unlikely that the meter could go wrong but meters have been known to read incorrectly. I thought the supplier was responsible for the meter. Appreciate any views

Hmm I may have dodged a bullet by having my application refused (because our gas is supplied by an IDN) Meh, the saving was only around £6/year any way.

    Currently with Better Energy :)
  • I'm in the process of buying a flat. Looking to complete purchase towards the end of the month or early December.

The vendor is currently with Scottish Power. How do I transfer this to Daligas, or another budget supplier, whilst ensuring I still have a service on the day I move in?

I don't have access to any meter readings or anything like that as I've obviously never lived there before.

Guesstimate how much you're going to use in kwH - energylinx tends to be able to do that

And then apply online. If you don't know your meter reference number, enter in all 0's

    Send it to Daligas

They send it back. You sign it. You send it back

Thats it - unless of course they can't switch you like me because we get it from an "IGT network"

With a potential £205 annual saving, I'm seriously considering switching to Daligas. However, a little out off by the "you are responsible for your meter" clause which seems unreasonable. I've asked to see their full t&cs to consider further.
