We're flying Saturday - Bristol to Gerona.

2 Adults 2 Children. 1 checked in case and a buggy? Do i need to pay to check in - Will do it online before we go but will have to take cases to desk?

Desk closes 40 minutes before flight - how long would you give it before we get to airport?

Any other hints and tips. Im regretting flying with them already, as i'm worried about charges?

ETA - Must check spelling and Grammar

    Were flying Saturday
If you were flying on Saturday, why are you asking now after you've already flown? Am I missing something?

No, the OP wrote "were" (past tense), which implies last Saturday.

Tells you on the website how much it will cost to check in a case. I always fly with hand luggage only but if you are checking in cases, I believe it may cost you more to check in at the airport than if you pay it online.

I always aim for getting to the airport about 90 mins before Im due to fly even if Im not checking in any bags, you dont know in advance how long the queues will be at passport control.

Well that seems a tad silly - if you have read the terms and conditions then you should have no problems at all.

The key things to remember are to ensure you have checked in and printed off your boarding passes (both directions), and that your luggage is within the prescribed limits (weight and size).

As you have hold luggage you should be at the airport two hours beforehand, in case of any queues at the baggage drop desks.

Did this cause a problem? Did Ryanair refuse accept it?

As they rip off half the sheet, it will definitely cause a problem! ;)

The thing I fear most about flying with Ryanair is that they'll weigh my cabin baggage at the gate and then sting me with a surcharge for putting it in the hold. In practice, they're much more interested in size than weight, but it can happen. 10kg isn't a lot for cabin baggage; mine is usually around 15kg. Be prepared and work out in advance which heavy items you can remove from your cabin baggage and put in your pockets if this happens to you.
