hi BA :) glad you had a lovely day

I am hoping for a quiet one myself tonight ( we have cider in the fridge & OH found 2 bottles of prosecco in a doorway bahind his work the other day) but OH wants to go out so maybe we will

One thing Ive just noticed is that you A&L card is at 1.3%. Just to check with you thats not monthly? I have a little feeling it is. If so I recommend paying thatr one off first - you could almost halve it with the money you have in the savings account so WELL DONE YOU!

did you get your confirmation from Early learning? I did :D
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Hi there, I was thinking that about A&L too - I was considering which one to throw the money at but I think it will be A&L. My other thought is because it has 0% BT on it, so I could clear the purchases and then transfer £1200 over from another card i.e. Barclaycard when that runs out? What do you think?

I got my confirmation from ELC and was so very proud of it :T nealy told DS how much his present really cost me :rotfl:

Hope you have a lovely evening - my lemon meringue has not gone as desired but looks aren't everything I guess

Hope you have a lovely evening BAUK. You never know, you may not get time to be on DFW after your romantic meal.....;)

Well I'm back after nearly 24 hours  and no Hypno, DH didn't get lucky - we both fell asleep watching tv :rotfl:

Have done my weekly sum up and it is as follows:-

Food budget - £106.42 - massive £40 over budget  but I did a big shop of toilet roll, kitchen roll, dog/cat food, dishwasher tablets, washing liquid, washing powder. Have now got a food budget of £44.53 for the next 7 days and it will be stuck to.

Petrol budget - £20.01, I have cut back on using the car as has DH and we this was the first time we put any petrol in the car for nearly two weeks :j

Car Tax Stamps - Bought £25 from Post Office and they look very pretty on their card stored in a very safe place as well.

Our monthly budget was £356.65, which was the amount left after bills, food, petrol etc and any we don't spend from this is going towards debts. I had averaged about £80 as a maximum to spend - unfortunately however ended up spending £125.86  , having looked at it though it was kind of essential stuff: £20.93 on nit cure (please work) and hariborange things to keep the kids sane, £30 on outfits for carnival (which can be resold on ebay, esp the zebra trousers I knocked together this afternoon :D ), £18.10 on 6 family birthday presents. DH has had some expenses this week as well, but our only unneccessary spends come to about £8 :j

I have budgeted a max of £57.70 for next week, but nothing planned. I have zilch in my purse and intend to keep it that way. The cupboards are stocked, bills are paid, dog has gone to in-laws for her annual 4 month holiday and I thoroughly intend a No Spend Week :j :j this should make up the overpayment for this week and I would love to put this to the debts. We currently have £445.97 in an unused account and I think I will put this towards paying off the A&L card.

Well here's hoping towards another week of DFW. I have just washed and ironed an absolute ton of clothes to stick on ebay tomorrow night, and now off to do some clicks on pigsback.

My biggest worry is that I am now obsessed with spreadsheets, online banking and this forum - I may have to pay for some therapy :rotfl:

Feeling very organised today so thought I'd do a list of things I hope to achieve today and this week:-

    - list DS's clothes on ebay as a job lot
    - list DD's clothes on ebay as a job lot
    - clear out my wardrobe of stuff to be sold
    - do daily pigsback clicks
    - only come on the board for 10 mins on the hour or face the sack when I get caught out due to lack of work
    - come in early every day so I can leave earlier and enjoy the sunshine :T
    - book car into garage as it was making a funny noise this morning :(

Sat in office on a gorgeous day, however my intentions to work hard have not gone well. So far, since 7.30am, I have been doing various exercises on new gym balls we have all been bought to sit on. Have discovered many exciting things you can do with them and thought I would do that instead - thank the lord no one else has come in early or I would have looked veryyyyyyy stupid lying on my back with a ball stuck between my legs :rotfl:

Well, I have done quite well with my list, DH took car in (made funny noise when he was driving it but I had to sort to ring the garage  ) and it was a stone in the brake parts - stone retrieved - repair bill £0 :j

Going home at 3pm due to coming in early (despite ball exercises known only to myself) :o

Have rationed board access today hence going home early - have to say though boring day so far :(

En route to train station I will have to go and get some leg waxing strips. I have been extremely DFW and left legs as long as possible before next appointment, but it is quite simply not an attractive look in hot weather and cropped jeans :o

Just been out for a cup of tea in sunshine with boss (she paid not me :T ) and she commented on the hairy presence  Frantically tried to get urgent wax appointment but alas, not to be, so I am off to get some strips and have requested DH's urgent assistance

If this works then I can cancel all future wax appointments and save myself about £15 a month, if it doesn't then DH will be sleeping alone tonight :rotfl:

Also, given chances of hospital treatment required in future should ball exercises prove disastrous, hairy legs with good looking doctor would be a bit

Your list is looking pretty good though, hope you manage to enjoy the early finish x

Have to say, you are very brave asking for DH assistance in leg waxing - not something I would be brave enough to contemplate asking for any male assistance in

    Good luck xx
