Arghh I've lost my Halifax Rewards accounts, 14th April setup must have been correct

I have BOS & Halifax Reward Account. As of 14th April both accounts did had DD setup. Both accounts are showing "Reward Account" but only my Halifax account had £5 reward payment. Nothing in BOS account.
Also the new rules are the account should not be overdrawn. If for example account gets overdrawn today and funds are transferred over the same day - will you still be entitled to the reward payment?

Ensure that you do not have a debit balance (planned or unplanned) at the end of any day during the calendar month.

How do you open a BoS Reward Account - they keep telling me I can only open it with Halifax?0

I have letters about the changes and also screen shots taken from when I logged in online and read info about the changes.
Not once was the 14th ever mentioned. I hope the Halifax are going to be very careful about whose accounts they change otherwise they will have complaints fired at them asap.
I don't know if there were different criteria or not but a blanket policy regarding changing accounts is wrong if not all customers were given the same information.Herman - MP for all!0 -

I'm quite sure my second Direct Debit was set up on 12th April because I recall being concerned, well just little—not enough to keep me awake at night—, about missing the deadline.
I'll wait for the three DDs (I have three set up now) to leave my account this month and then query the 'downgrade'. I also have several Debit Card payments to make too, so I'll push those through my Halifax account to show how committed I am to it. See what happens.0 -
Not sure if this is a sneaky trick by Halifax but I have 3 reward accounts and each has at least 2 DD's already set up. However, I set up a third DD on one of them for a new credit card in March, with first payment due to be made 20th April. Despite the CC company sending a letter to say it was all set up, the DD never appeared on my online banking until 19th April. It made me wonder if they have been stalling on setting these up fully so people miss the deadline...:think:0
