I got the letter today as well and am promised it by June 16th.
I also phoned 'Debenhams Direct' during the week on the 0141 number given on 'Say no to 0870', it really IS a curtain shop with no link to the store group!

The number you require is:- 020 74083008

I ordered mine a couple of weeks ago and when I called them to check where it was they said it would be delivery w/c 16/6. Have now received postal confirmation stating this.

They say it is delivered by a third party courier.

I got a letter as well saying that their supplier is having to provide more stock. Makes you wonder if it is the £70 ones we will be getting, or are they just knocking some up specially to meet the orders?
I still think it was a bit cheeky to take the money straightaway when they couldn't deliver the goods for ages.

melbury i think they ran out of ducks....
just rang debenhams and told them that i wasn't happy that they'll have my money for weeks before i receive the goods.she just said that that is what they do and it says on the site you will receive small home items within 5-7 days but larger items may take longer.she asked me if i wanted a refund-of course i didn't

They'll probably be stuffed with chicken feathers instead then!
Glad you phoned to have a moan at them, I still don't think it is right, they should take the money when the goods are despatched and not before.

I'm begining to feel left out here - no make that I DO FEEL LEFT OUT NOW!

Why? I'm one of the many 21st May orders and I've neither received :-

    a. A quilt

    b. An email saying when it will be delivered

    c. An apology letter saying it's out of stock and will be delivered in "x" days time.

***mmm discrimination - now where did I put my law books, new this degree I'm studying would come in useful for something***
