I got a letter today saying "Our terms and conditions 2.5 do state that we have not entered into a contract with you until the goods and order invoice have been despatched".


Has anyone had any luck with this ?I dont know what to do next. I had the order invoice from them and they had my money for a month.

Hi traceye. I'm still waiting to receive a reply to my complaints sent by email. Did you write to them by post? Debenhams has really annoyed me with this! Has everyone else given up?

I ordered one of these in the first round, and they took the money, and didnt ever deliver. Eventually I got a refund.

Ordered again last week. The confirmation online, and via email says £16.80. Just looked at my credit card statement and they have taken £56 out!!!

Surely they are not allowed to do this ? Ive emailed them asking why (it looks like they have put the price up on the website again).

Where do I stand legally with this? I did not authorise them to take this amount off my card (and ive not had the duvet yet either!!)

Anyone else with this problem ?

Ive emailed them but no response yet.
Was thinking it may be best to wait for the duvet to arrive (otherwise we will probably get the "they are out of stock " lie) and then complain about the money.
