  • Received a letter last week saying supplier making more and would be despatched soon, then letter today saying my credit card is being credited with £16.60 - nothing to say if it's for the duvet though I suppose it will be. Not even a letter of apology explaining what's happening - well I guess the duvet has gone the way of my free bissell! As far as I'm concerned life's too short to take it any further. (But go for it I say for those who wan't to pursue it - good luck!).

Got my letter today to say card will be refunded with £16.80. No apology or explanation and I assume no nectar points either. Was really looking forward to my duck duvet for the winter.

Which email address did you use? The CEO himself or the other one?

I sent to all 3 addresses I have supplied, that way hopefully some one will respond, although no reply up to now.

I am not sure about the CEOs address as I have just guessed re the info given to me for the other 2 addresses, but his name is definitely Rob Templeman,(good first name eh, rob).

And the postal address is post #116

  • I have just received a "tag" stating my e-mail I sent to head office has been read.
I received the letter today about money being returned to my account- No apology -no reason!
I doubt I will get a reply to my e-mail either!

    heres hoping ..........

Have just spoken to Fogarty, the supplier of the quilt to Debenhams, and they tell me that the quilt was made specifically for Debenhams and that a certain quota was ordered, that quota is now expired and Fogarty do not have any more,so Debenhams do not have any supply and Fogarty tell me that if Debenhams did order again Fogarty would have to buy in all the material and an order could take months.

Still say Debenhams have broken both their T&Cs, by taking money prior to despatch, and broken contracts with their customers.

I got the same letter this morning and was confused about the giftcard bit on the letter so i phoned. She knew what i was on about as soon as i mentioned the amount! LOL. Woman said that there was alot of people who had ordered but not received. She blamed the manufactors (SP) that they couldnt fufill all the orders. My money has been refunded onto my card though.
