Not so long ago I went on a date with an older woman. She was quite a bit older than me but she still had her good looks, a wonderful figure to match and was great company.

We got on really well and the age difference didn't seem to matter at all. At the end of the evening she took me back to her place and as soon as we got in the door we went at each other. The passion was red hot as we kissed and started to undress each other.

Then she said something I thought I would never hear...
'Have you ever tried a little mother and daughter action?'

I couldn't believe my ears. My head was spinning at the thought of it.
'No', I said, 'never, but if that's what you have in mind I'm all for it.'

She briefly broke away from our embrace and shouted upstairs...

    'Mother, are you still awake?'
I don't like morning people. Or mornings. Or people.

There have been a few but this one stands out as the worst (and on the rare occasion I've thought about it/him it leaves me feeling really embarrassed that he thought I was an 'easy' girl).

First date with a guy who was 10 years older than me that I met through a friend at work (I was 21) - we were texting/talking for about two weeks before we decided to go out for food and then to the cinema - he turned up late which shortened time together and we ended up just going to the cinema (he did smell of beer and he drove)

In the cinema first thing he does after the hellos etc is start kissing me and not even really watching the film. I end up leaving early to make sure I can get the last train. On my way out he invites me back to his car saying that all he need was 10 minutes for some fun. i decline - he says that he can drive me me home - I decline again and rush out before the end of the film. I get a message from him later that night wanting to make sure I got home okay etc. which was nice.

After we've been texting all week try to make plans for the weekend - he invites me round to his as he'll have the place to himself...I decline saying I would prefer to meet in the city centre - he doesn't want to and he then texts me back saying why do I always take take take and never give anything back to him.

So I told him that if all he wanted was a one night stand/fling then I wasn't that sort of girl and he could find someone else.

Needless to say he didn't like it and I never saw him again

I've had my fair share of dodgy dates - one that sticks in my mind was from when I was 18/19 ish...went for a date with a relatively good looking guy - he was a little quiet, but otherwise seemed fairly normal. We ended up going for drinks in a local pub and one of my friends (female, but around 6' tall) also happened to be in the pub and came over and introduced herself. My date freaked out because, and I quote "she was too tall". Mind you, earlier in the evening he had been freaking out (hyperventilating and everything) because the table we were sat at was "too round". Funnily enough I never saw him again after that. lol.

More recently, I ended up going on a date with a guy I met online - bit of an age gap (I am 26, he's 19), but as I haven't dated in a while my best friend persuaded me. Anyhow, we met up, had lunch then went to go for a coffee - turns out all the local coffee places were full, so he invited me back to his student flat for coffee, telling me he had Kenco Millicano. lol. To cut a long story short, I went and we had a nice time - literally just sat and talked for hours until he walked me back to the station (perfect gentleman). I'm actually seeing him again this weekend, but the reason I felt like mentioning this story was as he was walking me back to the train station he said "that's the first time I've brought a girl back to my flat and not slept with her". haha.

Just remembered, my sister recently was going to be having a fourth date with a guy she got on well with, but there wasn't a spark, and he wanted to take her away to the lake district for a romantic break for the fourth date (!!!).
    !

When I was 23 or 24 a guy took me on a European holiday for our fourth date. We're married now.

When I was 17 (just a year or two ago now...!) a bloke from work asked me out for dinner, and told me we could go from work, and he'd run me home afterwards. Being young and lazy, I agreed, specifically so I didn't have to walk 3 miles to the bus stop and then take 2 buses home!
Dinner was nice, we went to a lovely restaurant, had a good laugh, everything seemed to be going fine. After dinner, he had to pop into his house for something, and invited me in for a coffee. When we got in there, there were pictures up all over of him and a lady. I asked who she was, to be told "Oh, her? She's my wife. It's OK, she's pregnant, and doesn't mind me sleeping with other women just now."
I told him it was time I was going, and was about to leave for the bus stop, when his wife pulled up outside. He grabbed me and shoved me out the back door, and told me to be quiet. Turns out, his wife had come home early with the 2 kids from somewhere, and really wasn't impressed that he had me hiding in the garden! She was lovely though, ran me home, and told me she knew it was him, and not me, and that if it wasn't for the kids, she'd have left him a long time ago.
Still see him on occasion, still with the same poor woman.

Edited to add: I ended up having to speak to HR at work, who warned him about sexual harassment, I wasn't the first young girl he'd set his eyes on.

He was! Glad it didn't last longer!

I like being single! I only seem to have disastrous dates! :rotfl:

On a different first date the guy bought me a rose (incredibly :D) but turned into a  when he sent a message to me the following morning that was meant for his aunt saying 'he'd had a really good time last night and I think I love her'

Cue me backing away extremely quickly (he also went one creepy step further and asked me how serious I was about a LTR as he'd been offered a job in Glasgow and would decline if I said I wanted him to).

Once had a date from hell that involved going to the cinema, really bad idea because you can't make your excuses and leave. After about 5 emails the next day I had to reply to say I didn't think it would work out between us...cue emails galore, begging me to reconsider...amongst which he told me he'd brought along a 12-pack of condoms (to the cinema?). To this day I'm not sure what he had planned - making balloon animals?

Oh and for some reason he told me he was going to wait outside that cinema every year on the anniversary of our 'date' with a bunch of flowers. I'd like to think he kept that promise.

My worst date was in Spain. The two of us went into a crowded bar and there was nowhere to sit down. We saw some stairs going down to a basement area so we investigated and found that there was a whole second seating area down there, with nobody in it. We couldn't believe our luck that nobody else seemed to have noticed it, and we sat down there and had the whole place to ourselves.

The waitress came and took our orders and went away to get them. While she was away, we had a little kiss and a cuddle, because there was nobody there to see - but then I felt a creeping feeling on me....and I looked at my date's face and saw SOMETHING crawling on his head, too.

It was at that moment that we looked around and started to notice that the floor was crawling with cockroaches (and some of them had crawled onto us).

We screamed and jumped up and down in terror trying to shake them off, and eventually we got them all off. Then the waitress came back and we indignantly drew her attention to the fact that there were cockroaches everywhere. She said: "oh yes, they're always bad at this time of year. That's why nobody comes to sit down here."

We asked her indignantly why A. there was no warning sign to alert people to the infestation in the basement and notify them not to go down there if they didn't want insects crawling all over them, and B. why they didn't treat the place with pesticides to kill them. She just shrugged and said that they did spray them with something, but they just kept coming back.

Anyway, that was my NIGHTMARE DATE - not due to the guy himself, but due to the cockroaches! The poor guy was actually a really terrible kisser so maybe the cockroaches did me a favour after all.
