I had a blind date once. He was the loudest, most rude person I've ever met especially with all of the staff. Everyone in the bar was looking across with such pity for me, it was painfully embarassing. I went to the loo and a lovely lady from the next table was concerned and followed me in, asked if I needed rescueing. I said yes but my coat was still in the bar. She gave me her coat (waaay below freezing weather), I left through the back door guided by lovely staff, and never saw the bloke again. I returned the coat to the lady at her family's shop 2 days later, and married her brother two years later. That was oooooh twenty odd years ago now. So even a carp date can lead to something. In our case kids and dogs galore, so you have been warned!

Have a lovely time on your date. Let us know how it goes won't you!! xx

Hahaha, oh my days she sounds like she has all the luck in the world! She reminds me of Jim from American Pie or Ben Stiffler in Something about Mary! "How did you get the beans above the sausage?"

Seriously, I could write a book about her! I could tell you about the date she had with a gynaecologist but it would put you off your lunch!

Met a guy through Match, looked stunning on his pictures, so when a 5 foot 2 weedy little guy turned up, I was a little bit surprised to say the least as his picture he looked 6ft plus, buff, and the only thing similar was the hair colour.

He took me to one of the roughest pubs in the city, and when I ordered a gin and tonic he said, "That's a bit posh innit." We then sat in silent for what seemed forever, until he started going on about how his dad owns a taxi firm and how he can take me anywhere for free if I namedrop him.

When leaving he insisted I took one of his dad's taxis, I said I was getting the bus and tried to leave him there, but he followed me like a lost dog to the bus stop, where he tried to grab me when I went to get on the bus.

He then text me after saying how good the date went and he would love to see me again, and his dad's taxis could take us anywhere he wants (for free). I didn't text back.
