I listed sarcasm as an interest on a website as a bit of a joke at my type of humour and when it came to going out with the particular girl she decided that being sarcastic all night was a great idea. Luckily we went to the cinema so I didn't have to listen to her during that part of the evening, still though, it got very tiring.0

My story is not about me but rather a friend (honest):o. She had enrolled on a dating site and had a match, they arranged to meet in a pub and she asked that I call her during their meeting to check that she was ok and if not, she could make the excuse that it was an emergency call and get away. So I called her and she sounded awful but kept saying she was ok. An hour later I got a call from her phone from a women saying my friend needs me and could I come down to the pub. When I got there she was in the 'ladies' stuck half way in a small window in one of the cubicles! The date was awful and she tried to make her escape but her large frame got stuck. After much pushing and pulling it was decided to phone the fire brigade, 6 hunky me arrived and removed the window to get her out. Of course her date was still in the pub and aware of everything that was going on. She told him she was having a sneaky fag and got stuck! Thankfully she never saw him again.0

Haha is that for real!? That's absolutely outrageous. I remember a lad I went to college with left his phone on the table when he went to the toilet, in the meantime about 4 messages came through on various dating apps he had on his iPhone.
Funniest thing was his phone screen had darkened again when he got back and she just started being frosty and he couldn't figure it out. He looked at his phone later to check the time and his face must of told the picture because she just said "get it now?" OUCH.It's always darkest before the dawn.

This is a friends as well but included me.
I had a good guy friend who we had been flirting with each other non stop but we had an age differnece (17-25?I think) One night I was going out with my friends to a pub and I invited him and we had a really fun night as a group but at the end of it we walked home as we lived near each other and ended up ..well making out to say least with him being abit to full on saying stuff like oh I wish we had a house to go to...(ours both had parents but even if they didnt!! lmao) I kind of let this go though tbh at the time.
Next morning I got a text saying that although he really liked me he had someone else in the picture and although it was early stages she was more his age and he didn't want to take things any futher..he worded it alot better tbh but I text back saying I appreicated his honestly..which I did!! As I had recently been messed around by another guy who I ended up ending things after I found out that he had been seeing someone else who had dumped him but then gone to me as '2nd best' at same time.
Basiclyyy.......sorry for all background information haha.
Turns out this girl was someone who had asked him out at work (she doesnt work thier but is a customer) and he hadnt even had a first date with her yet...so they go out for drinks and bare in mind this guy is quite a good guy doesnt like to get drunk etc and she gets absoulty out of her face...buys him shots and ends up drinking both of them etc.
He said it was the most embassing night of his life. :rotfl:....turns out this girl admitted to stalking him at work for like a year, told him how may kids she wanted with him and how she wanted to get married and had it all planned out in her head and he was the one.....
He still slept with her though because in his words she took him to her house and 'forced him'.
He actally asked me out again but I was already seeing someone again...I guess neither of us hung around!!People don't know what they want until you show them.0 -
It's 100% true Orlando, she kept up with the dating site and met another, he was a BA pilot and she went around boasting about this guy,he did long haul flights and she was boasting about all the countries she was going to visit on the back of this guy. Their first date was dinner and when she walked in the restaurant he was sitting there with 5 kids, he had a meeting to go to and wanted her to look after them! Never saw him again either!0

Hahaha, oh my days she sounds like she has all the luck in the world! She reminds me of Jim from American Pie or Ben Stiffler in Something about Mary! "How did you get the beans above the sausage?"It's always darkest before the dawn.

I met a guy in Feb from a dating site - he spent the whole night telling me about his ex girlfriends and how they had cheated on him and why couldn't he get a girlfriend because he was lovely - then said he had torched the car of the man the ex had cheated with - but it was ok he was different now!! Surprisingly I didn't meet him again and had to duck when he went in for the kiss when i went to leaveBeen stupid but have no regrets starting to slowly sort my finances now the kids are growing0

I've never had a particularly bad date but I remember a very clingy guy who I'd been out with twice and then decided to call it off 'cause I didn't like him that much (and he was really clingy!) and I got a 4 page text back including such phrases as "You've had your chance with me" and "I'll find someone who appreciates me" - lucky escape I think! My Debt Free Diary
