I ordered from Very with some other bits, as they had kindly sent me a code for spend £50 and get £20 off! Also remembered my free treat as well, some green and blacks choccie.

Quick question as I am very un-techie: this calibre thing - is it something I download directly onto the nook (and how do I do that) or do I download onto my pc (how do I do that!) and connect the nook via usb?

If anyone knows of an idiots guide it would be much appreciated! And can I do the same to a kindle (I have a kindle, have bought the nook for my daughter). Many thanks for any words of wisdom.:)

I don't know if the Calibre will download onto the Nook yet as I haven't received mine. It will download to a pc/laptop - maybe even a tablet?

Just go to calibre site, and download it - it should set up itself. Then you need to drop in or open up (within calibre) anything you want to change. It's probably going to be mobis to epubs, or pdfs to epubs.

    Guide here.

    Calibre in action video here.
The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

I had the same message, but I didn't create an account so ordered another and created an account this time. Will see if it bounces again.

Adsa locally didn't get any, and online show 7th May before they ship them

I probably keep it as it seems unfair to them.

Just got home from work to an email telling me my 2 Nooks are scheduled to be shipped today.
Still have no word back from PC World regarding the other one, so think I'll try and cancel from them before they cancel on me!
And thanks to Mcja my sister ordered another 2 from John Lewis for home delivery to my brothers house in England so I can pick them up when I go over next week lol.
