Thanks OP I've ordered from JL.
This video shows how to use the web browser without rooting and reviews the Nook.
The last couple of minutes show you how to use the browser.

EDIT - It would appear this function has been removed with the latest software update which I'm assuming these new ones will have :(

Thank you! Impatient person that I am, I've cancelled my order with nook and have ordered from John Lewis to collect tomorrow :)

I did check JL before ordering last night but they hadn't updated the prices yet, glad they caught up before my order from nook shipped.

May I know how you cancelled the order with NOOK? The Chat did not work, I sent an email instead but wondered if there is a better way to do it. Thanks!

Got a delivery text from Very saying my order would be delivered today, got excited until I realised that that was just the treat! (why the flip don't they come together?). Still. I won't argue with chocolate.

I've tried to cancel with no luck. I've sent an email, tried chat, and even tried their twitter feed.

I don't want 2 (i ordered from nook direct first, then Very)

If they didn't cancel the order, I will just have to sell/give it away as it is not worthwhile to post back to Poland.

Argos has a special promotion with the Glo light Nook for accessories - you can buy them withn a third off if bought with the reader. Plus, you'll get a £5 voucher for spending over £50.

(You must collect your items in-store 1st May and 7th May 2013 to qualify for this offer and you will receive your free voucher in-store when you pay for the items.
Free vouchers are redeemable in any Argos store until 26th July 2013 )

I picked up two from Currys today. Got a 20% off voucher for ereader covers. Sorry if posted already. Thanks for this OP, I have wanted a non kindle for ages. Have a kindle but wanted to be able to 'borrow' ebooks from the library and not possible with a kindle. Looking forward to using mine. The other is for DD to put away for Christmas.

Just ordered one, cancelled my order for a refurb kindle from argos. Now just got to wait for it to arrive, miss my Sony ereader already (refused to power on lastnight, new battery last year but power switch issues when I replaced it)

Thanks, just ordered one direct from Nook, with 8% Quidco cashback. Perfect for my upcoming jury service!

ETA - nope, just had the follow up email saying my card issuer hasn't approved this. Has anybody actually managed to place an order with them?!

I know! Poland of all places - even with DSR, i think we'd need to pay postage. I'd probably return my £18 Nook (sob) to Very since it's free to do so.
