I think I've sorted this thing out happily.:j
I've downloaded a couple of books that I've bought already in paper which are so big I'd never fit them in my bag! I've already made progress on one, using the nook at lunchtime and the book at home.
And by making the font bigger I was even reading whilst walking the dog! :rotfl:
- HP Lovecraft is now out of copywriter so that's my reading sorted for quite a while to comeRelax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Frugal Living Challenger. No buying cleaning products. I used MSE advice to reduce my car insurance from 550 to 325!! & paid it off in full!!!0 -
My nook finally came today :j:j:j That will give oh something to do over the weekend! ::rotfl:Now thanks to Tommix & Queen Bear, now Lady Westy of Woodpecker0

Probably very stupid question, but I just want to be sure before ordering.....
Is this the charger? It says it is an adapter:eek:

Please will someone confirm that this is indeed the right thing.
Many thanks.
You only need this one if using it around the world as it has various adaptors. It has its purposes for even more than just this reader if you travel a lot.
What is needed is a USB 240v adaptor (which is what these are) which can be obtained quite cheaply on Amazon etc. You may even already have one in the house if you have a mobile phone that uses one like the Iphone does.I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.0 -
I'm using a mobile phone usb charger - I found I had 2 of these already - I have found they work perfectly well. Just a thought.

This happened to me, so I got one from Asda Direct and cancelled the Very order. Should Very be taking money from customers when they don't have the items in stock? Very naughty.0

Foyles Southbank has them in store today. Walked in and walked out with my Simply Touch
(Just remember to make sure they deactivate the security device, I was setting off security alarms for the rest of the morning!)0
