At last the NST ordered from Curry's some weeks ago has arrived. Startng to play - here's a thought. I have a tablet on which I have bought some ebooks from kobo. Can I migrate them to the NST?

Anyone looking in the Harrogate area - saw the Glowlight STs in store today (the main store), but the Simple Touch shelf was empty.

B&N Knowledgebase article on how to transfer Kobo ebooks to a Nook

OR, since both the Kobo and Nook use the EPUB ebook format, see if you can copy the ebook files from your Kobo to your Nook via your PC; or if the DRM protection prevents this, open the Kobo EPUB in Calibre and convert to EPUB, and copy the converted EPUB to your Nook.
(You've bought the ebook so you ought to be able to read it on a device of your choice; imagine if you bought a printed book and the bookshop told you you could only read it in the living room and if you wanted to read it in the bedroom you'd have to bjuy another copy!)

Probably very stupid question, but I just want to be sure before ordering.....

Is this the charger? It says it is an adapter:eek:

Please will someone confirm that this is indeed the right thing.

    Many thanks.
Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time

Yes that's the one. It uses the USB lead that comes with the nook itself.
Mortgage Free as of 31/5/11 :j:j:j:j:j:j:j

Has anyone had any recent experience with stock informer (apologies, I'm on my phone and limited network so searching is a no go!) - clicked as soon as alerted and still said out of stock for John Lewis :(

you really need to be checking sites
those emails dont go out at the same time for all, and with limited stock they are likely gone when you get the email

It's not an email it's a live feed. I wonder if it refreshes depending on when you go on the website so some may get notification before others. I've been checking for days & just found them on Asda.
