I ordered mine from Very on 3rd May and was told it would be delivered by 15th May.
On 12th May I checked my account and noticed the date had been pushed back to 20th May so I e-mailed them asking them to confirm that I would definitely be getting a Nook sent, and would only be charged £29 regardless of the price at the time of despatch, as I was worried that the reduced price would have ended by then or that they would keep pushing the date back and then cancel and I would miss out on the lower price elsewhere.
On 14th May I got an e-mail saying it had been despatched and I received it on 15th.

I would e-mail them for confirmation, as I did, so that you can hold them to their price and know you will actually receive one. Good luck, hope they come through with it soon because it's a great little gadget at a great price.

Just read your post and decided that I would knuckle down and get that De-DRM plugin loaded, as I'd not beeen successful the other night when I tried.

Happy to report, I've done it!

Thanks for inspriring me to give it another go!

You're welcome! I'm glad you persevered. It was the file extension bit I didn't understand... And I was probably clicking the wrong bit like he said people would!

Yesterday I got my local HMVs last 2.99 case... From a bewildered chap who hadnt seen one before and who didn't think it'd fit. It did :)

I've now downloaded a few vintage classics and 2 newer books that I have in hardback but a too huge to lug around with me. Yay! :j
Relax, Breathe, Love 2014 Challenges:Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger 23. Frugal Living Challenger. No buying cleaning products. I used MSE advice to reduce my car insurance from 550 to 325!! & paid it off in full!!!

My daughter received a Nook yesterday. We've registered it via the UK Barnes and Noble store and downloaded some free books onto it via the PC. It's currently connecting happily to our Wifi but is only showing the USA Barnes and Noble shop so all the books are priced in dollars. I can't seem to find any way of changing this. I've tried technical "chat" support from the Nook website but no one is replying. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Many thanks!
