Just as well I can remember the address of the holiday villa we used in Florida years ago. :D

    Thanks for the tip.

I think you need to update your UK address to a US one when you want to use the US site and then back to a UK one when you use that one. It's a faff admittedly but it did save me a few quid on the books I was after :p

    1. Screensavers are customisable. On kindle to install my own screensavers I had to 'jailbreak' it. Screensavers on nook are as simple as creating a new folder within the screensaver folder and filling it with my favourite 600x800 jpg images.
    .

Can you clarify the route for doing this - I've tried to add a screensaver and failed dismally. It's showing up on the nook file on my laptop, but not on the nook itself. And the two they've got are dire!
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

did you create a screensaver folder?
do the images meet to nook size requirements?

I don't see how a lot of people can rant and rave about e-books being cheaper!! Have been looking for Chicken Soup for the Teachers soul and for Christmas, and I can buy them cheaper on Ebay for the actual book.

Seems that all the books/authours I like, they're no cheaper than walking into a bookshop :(

Go into the screensaver folder in the nook on your desktop and in there create another folder called elsien's screensavers. Put your pictures in there.
On the nook in the settings select screensavers and choose 'elsiens screensavers'.

I was looking for existing folders of authors and nature but they don't show in the folder which confused me initially lol

ETA, if you cant be bothered to make your own, nook look has some great savers!

I use the epubbrowser as a home screen/app, and it allows me to set my current book cover as the "screensaver". Just like I had on my Sony.

Don't suppose you've come across anime manga stuff on your travels pullip?

Think I'd get Brownie points for a manga screensaver. :D

Ignore me.....I searched on the site you linked to and found some. :o
