PS-am also an e-reader addict. If you love books, what's not to like about having hundreds of them in your handbag?
Doesn't look like a book, feel like a book or smell like a book.
Can't pass on the book to friends/family and if you drop it in the bath .......

You can lend Nook ebooks to friends, and you can also borrow them from the library. Both books and ebooks are destroyed by immersion in water.

You're right, a Nook won't smell of damp paper ever. Or turn yellow

It's an offer to Nook users for a 14 day trial of magazines or newspapers.
The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

Can I ask why? I don't have a Kindle and am loving the Nook - wondered what is making you like the Nook more? Purely so I can gloat over functionality as well as price when friends keep on about how it's not a Kindle :D
I've only tried the Kindle in a store, but I didn't like the size, shape, and the screen - really like the Nook screen. Or the controls. It's probably very minor differences, but the Nook just fits me perfectly.

I'd still use a Kindle, especially at £29, and I'd go for a Paperwhite too - but not at current prices, and especially when amazon ebook prices are often the equivalent of actual book prices.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I was getting a little anxious that my order from Currys was going to be cancelled. I ordered on Saturday and it has been "processing" since early Sunday. I wanted to know if I should have a back up plan, i.e. order another from ISME so I gave them a call. . . .

Apparently they are expecting a delivery of 3000 Nooks tomorrow and orders will be fulfilled from this delivery. They are not expecting to have to cancel any orders.

I hope this is true and the lady wasn't just telling me what I wanted to hear :)

I'm just back from Currys having picked up my last outstanding Nook. I got a Nook case with this one but I'm disappointed with it, it's just plain black but it marks if you look at it the wrong way. :(

It'll do for the time being but I suspect it'll look pretty tatty pretty soon. :(

I bought a clip on light from waterstones and also a cheapo one from Poundland. I'll compare shortly, lol.
