Thanks, I'd missed about free ebooks from thebookdepository.
For anyone else who missed it -

I tried the bookdepository and never found a 'free' ebook - it always pointed to promotional sales. Couldn't help thinking this is a con?

The link takes you to the Book Depository, if you scroll down the page you can see both a Add to basket (pay) button and a Get free ebook button. This gives you the details of the book and the option to download in PDF format. There is also a page explaining about their free ebooks.

Most are out of copyright, so no modern stuff, but there is definitely free material there.

    I've removed the link etc

Because linking to illegal sites and taking royalties from authors is so big and clever isn't it?
That doesn't require policing it requires a modicum of common sense mate.

Can anyone recommend a clip on light thing for the Nook Simple Touch? Don't want to spend to much. I ordered my mum a cover thinking it had a light with it but it didn't :( so know have to buy a light separately but don't want to get the wrong thing again.

They also have ereader "Kindle Touch" covers that fit the nook nicely
for a princely pound. Couldn't find the item in product range on website but bought two for my daughter ystdy.
Just because somebody is certain doesn't mean they are right!
