I looked at about 10pm and at JL there were more than 10 - by 10.20 all were gone again!

Anyone know of any other stocks anywhere?

BUG MOC, I havnt tried myself yet, as ive just downloaded free books from dlsewhere. But one, HP Lovecraft, was in an odd format that i had to use Calibre to convert from for the nook: i downloaded it, it sppeared in Calibre and i just clicked 'send to device' and it asked if id like to convert and i said yes.

Perhaps as they are already on your computer you need to help Calibre 'see' them? Eg, pop them wherever Calibre saves direct downloads?

I might as well repost Re getting the extension: As explained earlier in this thread (post 628):

Download and install Calibre on your PC (if you haven't already got it):

    http://calibre-ebook.com/download_windows

Then download the DeDRM 'tools_v6.05.zip' from here:

    http://www1.datafilehost.com/d/e290f19f

Make sure you un-tick the box that says

"Use our download manager and get recommended downloads"

Then click on the smaller grey 'Download' box (not the large black 'Download Now' box) and you will get the tools with no virus warnings (the download manager that this host site is trying to include with the tools generates a virus warning).

'Unzip' the file - lots of freeware 'un-zippers' around like 7-zip if you haven't got one i.e:

    http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

Then it's the 'DeDRM_calibre_plugin' folder that you need - just follow the instructions in the 'DeDRM_plugin_ReadMe' document.

You can then load the kindle book into Calibre and convert it to epub

    Complicated - but it works.....[/QUOTE]

Have you made sure that you have 'unzipped' the plug-in first?

Then you need to select the zip file that is in the “DeDRM_calibre_plugin” folder.

I have found all the files from the plug-in in my downloads but can't seem to get it to work with calibre. I'm probably doing something wrong. I'll delete and try again tomorrow

I have just bought one from my local Sainsburys, there were none on the shelf but there were two under lock and key in a display cabinet. ( I think the other one was reserved by someone else).

I had a tillspit for £6 off a £40 spend and needed some groceries anyway, so to my logic the Nook ended up costing 23.99. :)

    Neoprene cases, such as

    or leather cases, such as

I have a neoprene like that on my Nook Glowlight. The only reason I've had proper cases before is to store a light (I had the M-Edge Kindle Cases with light before) but as the Glow doesn't need a separate light and the Nook is so tactile to hold anyway I just went with the neoprene and hold it rather than a case when I'm reading :D

Are you following the instructions in the 'DeDRM_plugin_ReadMe' document (in the 'DeDRM_calibre_plugin' folder). in particular when loading the plugin into Calibre:

"Do NOT select "Get plugins to enhance calibre" as this is reserved for 'official' calibre plugins, instead select "Change calibre behavior" to go to Calibre's Preferences page. Under "Advanced" click on the Plugins button. Use the "Load plugin from file" button to select the plugin's zip file (DeDRM_plugin.zip) and click the "Add" button. Click "Yes" in the the "Are you sure?" dialog. Click OK in the "Success" dialog".
