One thing that was not offered was interest, we felt we hadn't lost anything, if the claim had been paid at the time of the original claim.
Although we had most of our documents prepared being retired our time costs nothing and to be honest I quite enjoyed the exersise though wasn't relishing appearing in court.
There were a couple of items that we were advised to claim for but did not have any great confidence of getting.
We took the attitude "If you do not ask you do not get"

So far I make the court count as follows:-

Number of people that initiated court proceedings and won: 13

Number of people that initated court proceedings and lost: 1

That's seems pretty compelling to me ...:D

Let us hope the score rockets.
The airlines putting up stupid and inaccurate defences have only themselves to blame.

1 Lost - but moral victory, duff judge and cost Jet2 thousands, when they could have given me £450 6 months ago....

Quite right. How many more such "victories" do Jet2 wish to win, I wonder?

Clearly they want to beat me but they're going to have to fight me all the way. Currently awaiting a hearing date form my local court to where it has been transferred.
