Tax credit renewal 2013

I wonder why it's taking them 4 weeks to send the letters from renewal. Maybe they are cross matching information we give them in our renewals, they then go and check and also ask for evidence.0

Great, if that's the case (the 4 week timescale, my renewal was done on 19/04/13) my claim will get processed and underpayment released to me this week, or I'll get a letter in regards to something. Not sure what the hold up of mine could be, as I stopped working in Sept, so they'd just need to verify what I've said I've earnt with the HMRC. We'll see how much longer this renewal takes!!0

I called them today, and my renewal was completed on the 17th, so it took 4 weeks. I'm just awaiting the letters in the post, as the lady on the phone never mentioned my underpayment money!!0
-
thats good then but 4 weeks is a while compared to previous years.
Glad its sorted, hope mine is soon!!
I am too scared to ring but will consider ringing after 30 days0 -
We are on week 5 now and had provisional award arrive today, which is lovely but rather meaningless lolThere is no shame in not knowing; the shame lies in not finding out.0

Mine was straightforward, this year.
Renewed by phone on 15th May and was told not to ring back before 26th June (6 weeks).
I received the finalised tax credit award for 2012/13 and the new tax credits award for 2013/14 in the post today (21st May).

Well i called to chase mine as over 3 weeks he said not done yet, but a letter was issued on the 16th May, i have not received this.
He was lovely and gave me a number to ring.
I called this number and spoke to a lovely lady who said the letters get sent in two week batches mine has not yet.
She said it was a childcare review for 2012-2013.
Wait for letter but in meantime get ready invoices and proof of payment.
I have asked the childcare provider for invoices for the whole year and she said thats fine she has copies and they are all marked paid how and when on.
I hope thats enough info to finally get my renewal done!0 -

If the nursery write on each invoice and stamp paid when and how will this be enough proof of payment or do i need to send bank statements?
and are you sending them to Preston?
Its ok my letter not come yet just spoke to compliance on the phone.
Ive just typed a covering letter explaining all my fees for last year and what my estimates are for the current year,
my only problem is the kids attend one site at the school and the invoice address on all my invoices is another site their head office.
I have explained this also and aske for them to let me know if this is enough to finish the review and finalise my award.0 -
When i recvd my letter and i ring and spoke to a lady who said that they just needed to see proof of payment and thats what my invoices show, so i sent my contract my invoices for the year and also a payment schedule that they printed off showing how much ive paid every month.
They have my phone number to contact me if bank statement s needed just feel that giving them bank statements is a little intrsusive but if they are requred i have them ready to send as they accept on line baking statements.
And yes its the preston address0
