I don't know how to start a new thread and if I'm just going to be told off in an aggressive way after my very first post I'll just resign from this forum.

    Goodbye.

Yet you confirmed that you had read the posting guide which covers all basic aspects of posting and etiquette as part of your signup. So its not really any more than asking you to abide to what you already agreed to!

Its not a matter of being aggressive - Its simply directing you to best way to get the best help and advice possible for your situation! :)

Come on Pogo ... be nice, you don't really think that most people read all the terms, not just here, but everywhere. Proven beyond doubt that people do not read terms, hence the huge number of parking tickets.

Doubt we will see that chap again on here which is sad

I agree as far as it goes but PF's reply was hardly "in yer face" and was simply pointing out one of the basic forum rules (of a lot of forums - not just this one). In contrast the OP did look as though they simply wanted a rant - not that there is anything wrong with that - and may have believed they were contributing to a debate in an otherwise entirely relevant thread.

In short, I suspect that the the situation arose from a fundamental misunderstanding by both parties and one that we are generally fortunate does not occur more frequently.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com
