    Ignore is an outdated bit of advice as PPCs are getting more litigious. Here's the one opportunity to knock this on the head with a robust POPLA appeal.

    Sorry to get you to reconfirm this, but I think it is important. As I understand it only the Police and Local Authorities can use this term.

    Could someone more experienced on this side of things confirm that it should be reported to the DVLA, Trading Standards and BPA as a misrepresentation of authority, as well as forming one of the planks in the OP's written appeal to POPLA?

    The one i'm reading definitely says notice to owner and is not their usual format.
    Not comliant with POFA so yet another that won't be going anywhere.
